My first picture I completely painted with a Dotting Pen instead of a brush and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The lines were much easier to paint and even for small cells I find the pen better than a brush. I didn't think that after the initial difficulties I would be able to cope so well with it. But now i finally love my pen ❤️ Gone is the time of searching for the perfect brush 🙂

Where do you get the dotting tool?
Hallo wo haben sie denn den Aufsatz für die Pens her?
Es wäre schön, wenn du ein Video einstellst mit Direktansicht von oben. Also wie man aufs Bild schaut. So hat man noch eine andere Ansicht. Ansonsten toll gemacht.
Muss man die Farbe mit so einem Pen so dick auftragen ?
Ja, weil man sonst das Gekratze mit dem Pen hat.

Do you wipe off the dotting tool as when tried it just made a mess & sure could do that much at one or two dips in the paint & acrylic paint got sticky & left strange part drying, part wet paint? Do you have a more informative video??

I tried to do this last night but can’t get very much paint on the tip & it starts to dry so fast? How much Flow-aid or medium helps it actually move (as feel had paint tad thick) but added lots of Flow-aid & really hope can get the hang of it!

Wie sieht es mit mittleren und großen Flächen? Genau wie mit den Kleinen oder muss man da etwas beachten?
Für größere Felder gibt’s dotting pens mit größeren Kugeln. Ich persönlich greife bei ganz großen Flächen jedoch gerne zum Pinsel.

Bei Schipperfarben ist ein Farbflussverbesserer nicht nötig. Und den den du da zeigst, muss vorher 1:5 verdünnt werden. 1 Tropfen Farbflussverbesserer und 5 Tropfen Wasser.
Nein es steht „mit 10% Wasser mischen“ auf der Anleitung. Bei Schipper Farben geht auch Wasser, ja. Mir ist aber der Flow Improver lieber, v. a. helle Farben kommt mir vor bleiben deckender.
@@silke1502 Muss man den Farbflussverbesserer nun pur oder mit anteilig Wasser dazugeben ?

Like at some point of diluting the acrylic paint then transparency issues come in? Never tells you how much to dilute the paint????
