NBC Saturday Night at the Movies 1970 Opening Music Only
Recorded by me on a reel-to-reel tape recorder when I was 11. The sound quality isn't great, but it's better than nothing. If anyone has a better copy of this out there, please be generous and share it.

Soviet TV morning exercise program (1987)
zhlédnutí 143KPřed 17 lety
During the heyday of Richard Simmons, this is what people in the USSR had every morning for an exercise program. Have a look, and judge for yourself whether this or "Sweatin' to the Oldies" looks more dated 20 years later. Raz, dva, tri, chetyre.
WABC Late Late Movie (1987)
zhlédnutí 10KPřed 17 lety
This is what it was like to watch the late late movie on Channel 7 (WABC) in New York in 1987. Elongated in cinemascope see Hope Lange and Stephen Boyd hook up at the end of The Best of Eveything, dedicated to all those who have toiled in the skyscrapers of Manhattan.
Mita photocopiers (1987) commercial from Japan
zhlédnutí 17KPřed 17 lety
Interesting commercial for Mita copiers features lady seemingly waiting for her date to show up while samurai figures projected on skyscrapers behind her make faces. Shown on CUNY-TV, New York.
Showtime movie intro (circa 1988)
zhlédnutí 21KPřed 17 lety
Truncated intro for "R" rated movie. If anyone has an un-truncated version I'd like to see it.
Shearson Hammill (1966) TV spot
zhlédnutí 557Před 17 lety
Truncated version of spot that appears elsewhere on CZcams, except this one has slightly better video quality. Sophisticated commercial with Avengers atmosphere would have been at home sponsoring Meet The Press discussion of Johnson administration.

thanks for the sample man i made something cool with this
Brings out my inner Beavis and Butthead.
A heathy body makes a heathy mind. ☭
Предпоказное изображение выглядит так, как будто кто-то снимает утонувшего в луже. 💀
Блин, кстати, эти утренние упражнения - вещь очень хорошая (хотя я сам инвалид, но довольно люблю наблюдать за фигурами этих дам).
👖why it's so hard to get a ride hitchhiking with blue jeans on...

Don Stanley NBC Saturday Night At The Movies 🎬 Needs the marquee flashing theatrical lights to make this 1970 advertisement real, I remember! Bring it BACK !
Pre-9/11 stuff.💲😎
The year is 1991. I live in the underground city. You wouldn't like it down here, but up above it's worse. Cars choking the streets. People choking on the air. We had our chance to clean up congestion and clear the air by the 70s. We could have demanded adequate public transportation. We could have banned cars altogether in parts of our city. But we didn't do it. We drove ourselves underground. This is no way to live.
The greatest commercial of all time.
Bugle Boy, Gloria Vanderbilt, Jordache, Sasson, etc. The 80's designer jean phenomenon really drained my pockets. 😢
Edwin jeans.
Wrong aspect ratio.
I spent most of 1982 really STONED! I'm sure if I saw this then, I enjoyed the shit out of it. Unfortunately, I don't remember much of 1982, LOL!
Looks like something from the early days of Pixar.
Girls don't notice you for Bugle Boy jeans... They notice your Bugle Boy jeans...
I do wonder what the bumpers looked like if it was a rated G...
This fantastic commercial makes me feel as if I am in a Salvador Dali painting !
Looks as good as Zuckerberg's Meta-verse 41 years later!!
Did not get that series until September of 1971. WHO-TV took its time to add that to its lineup. By that time, I was working.
Randomly thought of this commercial while watching “The Hitchhiker.”
omg totally found this by accident but i'm in love <3
IF ANYONE has this "Saturday Night at the Movies" Theme with the "Theatre Marquee Light Bulbs Flashing" Giving one the impression that you are a child sliding down those lights like a slideboard and different groups of lights flashing at the end of the ride all to the music: PLEASE POST IT HERE! That was the BEST version of this theme I recall as a child.👋
Z Channel should come back one day. 😀👍
My left ear enjoyed this
Hell naw you know they Polo
Our society used to be so creative and problem solving skills through the roof. Now people can barely warm up a piece of pizza in New York City without a chef..
Yeah because all the engineers, doctors and scientists just disappeared, right? Grow up.
@@DeroriMusic Angry liberal goes REEEEEEEEEEE
@@FrequencyOfThought What a creative, thoughtful reply. Damn shame no one nowadays can come up with anything half as insightful as that lmao
@@DeroriMusic Tell me I'm wrong little butterfly.. Don't you have some highway to protest fossil fuels on?
I wish all countries have excercise shows in morning like in Soviet Union
How Soviets excercise... This in the video
Who directed this ad?
Annabel Schofield ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Nostalgia. I was born in modern Russia but my parents and my parents' parents lived in the USSR and they watched it. I remember watching it on cassette when I was 3-4 years old too
fad
czcams.com/video/xn2ExS399e4/video.html full video found very rare
Nothing like Soviet 80's music.
This music seems to somehow say New York to me, the same as themes to That Girl and Will & Grace.
S O V I E T H O U S E
Thank you. I already had started jerking my headphones.
Damn she's fine..
I miss my childhood too
we need these types of shows for Americans in the morning
I never would've known they were Soviets without the title...they looked amazingly...Western..
Not really. They look and are dressed like Eastern Europeans in the 80's.
My favorite jeans in the 80's
"Let's see which one of us can touch his toes."
Man…I remember seeing this when I was 9 I wanted those jeans badly😂😂😳I still do
Those two are still married!
So the message here is... Don't wear our jeans if you want to get picked up by hot chicks? I can't see that as a winning ad strategy.
Back in the days!!
