Sure is quiet because it never works. I do not recommend this hood it’s been quirky since it was installed by my builder. It never works and you can’t find any troubleshooting guides.

how do you connect and seal the connection between with the ducts in the wall if there is not access panel?

Very curious as to what the difference is between Heat Sentry and SmartSense? Do they both work the same way? Or is Heat Sentry more of an emergency option and SmartSense is for hands free everyday use?

Is there a minimum distance between the back of an oven and the front of the down draft unit?

Wish they would have shot the video without any cuts...you can't tell if the same balloon was used on the left range hood as you don't see the weight of the balloon on the scale when removed and dropped into the tube. The left unit looks like a vent-a-hood range hood. Again, you don't know if only the lowest setting was turned on. First setting on the vent a hood is 300 cfm, 2nd settig will turn the 2nd blower on, which suppose to reach 600 cfm

Worst decision I made in my entire remodel. Downdraft is virtually worthless on 2 lowest settings and almost always needs to be run on high. Even at that, completely worthless for anything cooking on front burners, forces all your cooking to just the 2 back burners. Then, even on the back burners, and on highest setting, so much goes above the vent and out into the room, you have to cook with lids and constantly work to catch smoke and steam. My advise, extremely costly vent solution that provides extremely poor performance. In addition, you have to clean after every use and really difficult to clean efficiently. It looks cool but such a huge dissapointment.

Thank you for the video. My installers installed the hybrid baffle filters backwards (spring side to the back rather than the front) so they no longer come out. I'm showing them this video and having them somehow take the filters back out (without scratching the hell out of the venthood) and reinstall them.

Need help with exterior installation. My kitchen is on a slab.

This video didn't do anything except show us a photo of the unit.... how about cycling through the fan modes, pull the filters out, lets see the lights. Don't be afraid to create a video that last more than 60 secs.

How is he connecting the duct with such a tight fit? Seems like a pivotal part to just pass over...
