The best dungeon for one of the best games.

Oops, I did a long ramble again. If it's not clear from the examples given, the specific genre of 13th Age is "heroic fantasy": big damn heroes fighting big damn monsters.

Of course I'm a wizard, look at this hat and staff!

OK, the length of this one got away from me somewhat. Aaand it might be more of a "comparison with older editions for the grognards" than actually helpful for a brand new player. But hey, those kinds of videos have a purpose too, don't they?
Lovely figures with beautiful colors, great job!
Nice update Doc! The pulp characters look great.
Guy in the red coat kind of looks like Michael Caine from Zulu. Love the Pulp figs. Cheers Doc.
Yeah, the idea was to paint a british uniform. :)
This may be the dungeon for me. Thanks for sharing!
Always happy to help people find good stuff! :)
Ah, its a shame about those missing parts. I hope they send you the missing bits! And we all have our slow times, I've been off the bench traveling with my family for Summer. I'm very impressed by your painted::purchased ratio for the year!
Love these kobolds. Only Reaper seems to make the little horned dragon-doggies from the original artwork. I have loved kobolds for over 30 years, well before loving them was "cool". These look great and inspire me to dig mine out and paint them. I might even paint up the disappointing kobold set Ral Partha made in the late 80s, based upon the terrible monstrous compendium rendition. Why take all the character out of the cutest little baddies of all?
I just started looking into this system so it was nice to see your review pop up. Great job.
Very interesting system. I find myself always swinging back and forth on if i like granularity or not. It wouldn't be something i would buy, Lord. i have enough rpgs i dont run. But would definitely play. Great detailed review 👌 dont sweat the tech issues people expect hbo productions on CZcams. Its a platform for ametures,(and i mean that with respect) nothing more
Almost no-one mentions MythCraft! - IMO & in comparison/ contrast - it is the TTRPG in development that scratches most of my TTRPG ITCHES! That said, for 8 yrs now, (house-ruled) 13th Age is my epic-fantasy ttrpg go-to.
Those shelves look great with the minis! Makes me want to start painting again. Good review, hadn't heard of 13th Age before but will now check it out.
Excellent!
Check that 80s synthwave wizard! Holy cow...I know who in the party I'm targeting first as the DM. Hehe.
Those wizards look great doc!
I expect honest reviews..positive or negative. We're all entitled to our opinions. Don't bow to the trolls. Do what you want to do.
agree. ignore any negative comments. if you bow down to idiots, the world just gets more stupid.
Surprisingly (at least to me) I really like the pink and dark grey color scheme. Take care Doc.
Black/dark grey goes with everything. ;)
keep it up they look amazing!
I liked this first batch of apprentices, I think you captured they worried expressions very well.
Those are some nice sculpts, they have a lot of personality.
I want to see how turn out all hose apprentices. Interesting minis for Frostgrave setting.
Guild Ball is by steam forged it is a medieval combat football game. It was discontinued a few years ago hence the reasonable price for packs. The good news is Steam forged is bringing it back and the cards and rules are on their website
That knight turned out just like the box art. Very nice.
Handy tip. Place a plastic tube on the machine then put the static grass into the center of the tube. The grass will have nowhere to go but up through the top which is where your hand and model will be. Kind of concentrates it a bit.
It just dawned on me that the bald muscular guy holding the cup is Vin Diesel's character Riddick. I think there was a scene where he punches a guy with a sharpened tin cup while he's in a prison. Cheers Doc.
You know, that might be it!
Nice choosing to finish unread books, good for you Doc. Hope to see more of your minis painted, by the way, and a new friendly manager in your local gaming store. Loved how that Leelo turned out.😀
Good stuff. I might have to buy myself these.
Good catch on those figures from the various sci-fi movies/shows.
Very nice, I love all the bright colours!
Those Viking models are looking pretty good already. I really liked the woman in the robe. Simple but very effective color scheme. Cheers Doc.
Superb painting and basing!!
Hey I like your technique to painting miniatures 8 years ago you posted a fantastic video on pre shading I was wondering if you still approach speedpainting your miniatures that way or have you changed with now speedpaints and contrast paints out in the hobby please do another tutorial thank brother
No, now that I'm done with all my Reaper Bones kickstarters, I've adopted a more mixed approach. I paint different areas of a miniature with different techniques. It's kind of hard to do a tutorial on, since it's more of an "anything goes" method. But I'll think about it, and see if there's parts that I coud break out to talk about.
Yeah thanks, and get better soon doc👍
Happy Easter, thanks for the video
Hope you are feeling better soon, buddy...Jim
Thanks for the video 😊
You do beautiful work. Glad I refound the channel.
Don't think you mentioned it but did you free hand the shield design or use a decal?
Oh, that's a decal. Probably forgot to mention it because I did the same thing on another shield recently.
Wonderful looking ladies those ones!
Your miniatures are simply magical! Watching your video is like taking a journey into a world of imagination and craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Glad you are getting some good stuff from your printer.
Absolutely stunning work! The attention to detail and skill in painting these miniatures is truly impressive. Each stroke of colour brings these figures to life, creating an immersive and captivating experience. It's clear that a lot of passion and dedication went into crafting these masterpieces. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you.
Good stuff, I especially like the Mad Max one.

well like minis you got dun the cat and wal why do em terrain the girl why do hare just test if can paint the mini why no whent all that trouble to do it as go on you get better at it do new and we tune in
Yes, lightbox is definitely nicer to show off the minis at the start. I like the guy with the shotgun and guitar. Thanks Doc.
Thanks. I was concerned when I first listened back to the clip because filming in the lightbox changes the sound so much, but it didn't seem to bad in the final edit.
Well done Doc, as I've told before, love those blue jean tone variations. The guy with the bat and the bottle was my favourite one of this batch.
Thanks!
well i know you not reply but good and neat stuff to yes if can find it the show mythbusters had a thing on that why of shooting a gun well see fore self if wish you post i see
Good stuff
