Hi all, Okay, it boiled down to only eight business days going by before I saw the new notification that my parcel had entered Australian shores. However, whilst awaiting for the status of the delivery to change status made my mind race thinking or over-thinking; Why does it appear to be "stuck" in Germany despite being approved for clearance? Had the parcel got lost in the mail? Had the parcel gotten damaged in transit? It's the feeling of not knowing and being out of control of the situation that wore me down! True, I hear you all yell, "It's a first world problem - get over it!" Indeed!! 😅

Hi all, I don't think there's a way to copy and paste images into the comments section. I wanted to show you the Woolworths Tuna and crackers snack pack that I was hoping the Woolworths Metro along Smith street would have. As Woolworths Metro stores are smaller versions of their supermarket sized counterparts, they naturally have less stock lines available. The tuna dressing I normally choose, is Thousand Island. And said packet wirh crackers and tuna usually has 5 pieces of crackers in it. If you do the maths or prefer to stick to a budget when grocery shopping buying the items separately would work out cheaper in the long run versus the snack pack versions. The Ritz crackers box I bought weighs in at 227g. I don't know the amount of crackers inside but as my mum used to advise me "buy in bulk" when grocery shopping. Saying this, if I had bought a 2.5L or 3.0L sized coke bottle, it would have been more frugal than the 1.25L bottle I bought but I didn't want to have to carry anything too heavy into work. The individual cans of tuna of the Woolworths Metro Smith Street didn't have any Thousand Island varieties so I compromised with Mayonnaise & corn instead. Why I stopped going to 7-Eleven for now, was due to their App not working properly before I left for overseas vacation to London and Budapest last March. I know their app like many apps are designed to "reward" you to keep your loyalty to their store Because the app was not working, I couldn't access the rewards section whenever I reached my 7th in store purchase I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it and ensuring I had the latest version but the same error message kept showing "Sorry we can't show your rewards right now please try again later" or words to that effect I gave up in the end, and deleted the app altogether and then stopped shopping there as well. Generally supermarket prices are cheaper than 7-Eleven prices. I went to 7-Eleven for the convenience of location to my work during lunchbreaks where we would only have 30 minutes for lunch. So I didn't want to waste time walking somewhere further like Woolworths Metro Flinders Street, as that would chew up my limited lunch break time. Also, after awhile I got sick of buying the same products. There were only so many varieties of sandwiches or pies or donuts available so I've taken a break from that franchised chain of stores. Usually bringing food from home or buying something on the way to work also has maximised my 30 minute lunch break as now I have everything ready to eat without needing to go out and find something. In the staff kitchen like many a workplace, is equipped with a fridge, microwave and kettle etc where one can store their food or heat it up or make a cup of tea or coffee. The source of the paper images of most of the main cast of Voyager were sourced from a past Voyager themed calendar. The centrefold of said calendar featured the cross-section schematics of the USS Voyager. It's likely either Kes or Harry Kim or Neelix maybe on the flip side of the double spread of that centrefold. Okay, I completely forgot to mention Neelix!! So to re-cap this silly short addition only featured the Doctor EMH and 7 of 9 because I didn't keep any calendar imagery of Kes, Kim or Neelix or that they are on the other side of the Voyager cross-section imagery. I couldn't be asked to pull that image off the wall and check the other side to see if Kes, Kim, or Neelix are there or not... That trio of characters was my least favourite of the crew. Hi all, Please don't court martial me. I got into Trek from Star Trek The Next Generation, seasons 1 - 7 and subsequently the four feature films. Despite the varying quality and quantity of episodes and seasons of other Trek series like Star Trek Voyager, I find it amusing to make such silly videos from time to time. Before you flood the comments section, I know there was an episode, the episode that opened Season 5 of Voyager titled "Night" Spoliers: Captain Janeway had an existential crisis and told Chakotay that she had regretted her decision to destroy the Caretaker's array that could have got the crew home sooner. Hi all, In this Kylie albums ranking video, when I highlighted her Light Years album, although I tried to re-cap the singles from this album; I forgot to mention Please stay, Kids and Your disco needs you were each released as singles too Spinning around - as the lead single, it was not one my favourites. Her gold hot pants in the video clip have become more famous than herself. Spinning around was yet another staple track of her live gigs' set lists of various concerts On a night like this - only much later at the time, I was surprised to learn that this single was a cover. It wasn't an original track by Kylie. Kids - "The" best duet she had done to date in my opinion. A perfect pairing of her and Robbie - the cheeky larrigan of ex-Take That fame. Please stay - Kylie often was and still gets compared to Madonna. In this track's case, for Latin American musical stylings; I prefer La Isla Bonita by Madonna versus Please Stay by Kylie. Kylie's track was okay but for me lacked something, it lacked a big hook overall. I felt this should have remained an album track rather than a single release. Your disco needs you - Brilliantly camp, and why not? Flavours of Village People soundscape and she got to drop her French linguistics lyrics again since Je Ne sais Pas pourquoi. Hi all, Now that I've listened to Nonetheless several times initially from Pet shop boys official channel on CZcams to having since received the box set I ordered online; each track on Nonetheless reminded me of / reminiscent of a past track whether that be an album track, a single release or a B-side. This isn't a criticism but a compliment. Several reviews I've read e.g. from The Guardian, NME or Metacritic have highlighted how it's like a sequel album to Behaviour. Behaviour being where they were at the stage in their lives akin to being in one's early twenties, continuing onto adulthood whereas Nonetheless has the duo look back on their lives and where they've been, what they've accomplished and experienced, good, bad or otherwise, cherishing and reminiscing on what has been or what still could be. So, for me, the list that follows, given their crafted signature sound that has evolved over the years, would naturally remind me of past tracks and productions - all classics in their own right. I don't mean to infer they are repeating themselves, rather building up from the foundations that were laid in those past tracks. Hi all, In the following link, I mentioned Sia who used to work JBHIFI Heidelberg. czcams.com/users/shortsvS_QIxUu9CA?si=CMJRebulcesNNhYx We clicked in terms of both of us being Kylie fans and subsequently as I was a regular customer (an increased trajectory of my burgeoning music collection of CDs, Vinyls and DVDs) over time, Sia saved me a couple of promotional items once the promotion periods were over she was allowed to save them for me. I hadn't even thought about this possibility, so it was a pleasant surprise when she handed them to me when I next popped into that JBHIFI to browse for more music or film purchases. The Pet Shop Boys promotional item, I had initially thought this was also from Sia as she knew I was also a fan of PSB. However the HMV brand on it made that association defunct! Regards to the PSB promotional panel of their first six deluxe releases of the "Further Listening" album series; were from HMV Prahan at the time. Jon who was the store manager at HMV Prahan, got to know me as a regular customer often sought PSB's albums / singles... When the promotional period for PSB's Further Listening albums was over, Jon gave me this panel. Unfortunately unlike JBHIFI that this store franchise continues to exist today, all HMV stores in Victoria (and wider Australia I assume?) have since closed their doors. I recalled fondly of HMV store locations that were at Bourke Street Mall in the city centre of Melbourne and at Northland shopping centre, Preston. When HMV stores were open, the use of internet for online shopping hadn't occurred yet. So often Jon would offer me to pre-order or to purchase limited edition or overseas editions of PSB's albums, EPs or singles. Coincided with Kylie Minogue, HMV Prahan had a tradition of having launch events for each new Kylie album from around her Light Years album release onwards. When the release date was announced for a new Kylie album, that HMV store would be open after normal business hours so customers could have the opportunity to buy her new album the evening before the official release date. Kylie fans didn't need any further enticement to buy her albums, however Jon sweetened our fandom frenzy by offering additional items like Kylie posters, and of her album releases in as many formats and versions as possible or that were available. It made such evening events of Kylie album launches so memorable and exciting to attend. It felt so special to have special access to Kylie's limited wares - such exclusivity - it was such a sense of bonding and a feeling of belonging that I hadnt felt before - in terms of Kylie fandom. ❤ 😊 🎉 PS: The last Australian HMV stores closed permanently by mid-2010 due to lack of sales / profits.

Hi all again, I hinted in the video, albeit messy and disorganised as it was, at how could any album be a sequel to Behaviour? But then, I did not get round to explaining why in my opinion Well for me there is a Pet shop boys album that deserves to be called the sequel to Behaviour is Nonetheless! That was what heavily influenced me to place Behaviour at #5 and Nonetheless at #4. Prior to the release of Nonetheless, Behaviour would have held the #4 position in my ranking however now the #4 position has been captured by Nonetheless and every other album had dropped one spot downward of each of those albums below Behaviour to position #15 consecutively. And with Nightlife still religated to the bottom position of #15. Until Pet Shop Boys 16th studio album! It is so good to have something to look forward to! Long live the Pet Shop Boys!!!🎉❤😊

I must have unintentionally pressed stop instead of pause for the first of five and second of five parts. Any viewers want to share their memories or anecdotes of their 1st year anniversary of independent living ie: living away from their parents home?? I have enjoyed watching fellow Pet Shop Boys fans videos online of their unboxing experiences of Nonetheless... I fully agree with their sentiments saying every new Pet shop boys album release is indeed an EVENT!! I love how the arrival of my Nonetheless boxset and Zoetrope version of Nonetheless on vinyl both coincided with my 1st year anniversary of my apartment living - 9th May 2023 - 9th May 2024

Step 1: hold rear button of right side speaker for 2 seconds until you hear a whoop-whoop sound - light indicator will flash blue and red - BLU-TOOTH connectivity confirmed Step 2: Press same button for 1 second - light indicator will turn solid green - confirming AUX input connected Step 3 - Press same button one more time for 1 second - light indicator will turn solid red - "LINE" input conmection onfirmed Dave who helped me at JBHIFI Westfield Doncaster location was very helpful and patient with me. He set up a second vinyl record and speakers to test and try and eliminate the reason/s for no sound coming out of my speakers when I tried to today on my model equipment at my apartment. Dave was okay I filmed the instructions he reminded me of, as I told him I am "visual learner" so now I have visual instructions on my phone and on CZcams if ever lost or accidentally deleted the footage in Gallery in my phone. I had tried looking up online instructions and trouble shooting but found nothing of help before phoning JBHIFI Doncaster for help, which subsequently Dave suggested I take my music equipement to the store and he'll investigate. As a bonus, Sia happened to be walking around the same JBHIFI store Not the singer Sia, but she is also a JBHIFI staff member but she no longer works at Doncaster. She was needed to pop by so she didnt stay long. I knew Sia from when she worked at JBHIFI Heidelberg about 20 years ago. That site has closed down permanently then she moved to work at Doncaster and now she is at another JBHIFI location much nearer to her home. We are both fans of Pet shop boys but more so as mutual Kylie fans was the basis of our rapport when I first came to Heidelberg JBHIFI and she was there in store. Whilst she was working at Heidelberg JBHIFI, she was generous to give me Kylie promotional material used in store but otherwise would have been trashed. The two items she gave to me were; a Kylie stand that advertised her Fever album at the time to win 2 tickets to see Kylie in London. And the second item was a hanging cube also promoting the album Fever. I will take a photo of both items and share them under the COMMUNITY tab of my channel. Thanks again to Dave for his help in re-training me on the instructions for non-blu-tooth speaker connections for my vinyl record player.😊 And it was amazing to see Sia again. The last time I saw her was when she worked out of the JBHIFI Doncaster store, probably either when Kylie's Golden or Disco albums were released. Memories are formed by association. Hi all, The strawberry Danish was bought from Breadtop at Westfield Doncaster. I often have gotten into the habit by making default choices about how long I want a short video to be. And that's usually the maximum of 1 minute as a CZcams short. However, now and again, I find the content I'm creating doesn't necessarily need to be maxed out to the 1 minute mark; as this very short video will atest. Less is more as the saying goes, and for this video, I reckon it was the ideal length to get the spontaneous humour and silliness across. 😅

Hello all, Some roads in Melbourne are toll-ways or toll-roads where you need to fit an e-tag sensor in your car so that the toll-ways' overhead sensors pick up whenever you use these stretches of tarmac. If I had of continued to have driven forward, without any e-tag, I would be billed owing the amount travelling one way or a return journey through that section of tolled road. Other than Rod Laver Arena, known for tennis matches during the Australian Open season; neighbouring sports venues are; in no particular order: Margaret Court Arena John Cain Arena AAMI Park MCG: Melbourne Cricket Ground

Hi all, As a casual listener to Niall Horan, when I checked with the set-lists website, (works like Wikipedia where people are able to contribute and edit set-lists of concerts attended) I soon realised he does not perform the same set-list every show. At the time, no one had contributed a set-list for the Melbourne show I attended so I based his song titles performed from his Sydney show. This track i thought was Since we're alone but it was actually Never grow up. This title has since been corrected.

Hi all, Re-watching this uploaded video; I don't actually know what "box key" meant on the sign to access the parcel locker area outside of business hours. In the short, I assumed "box key" was the one-off 6 digit PIN texted to you in order to open a parcel locker. I suppose it does work like a "key" - a type of virtual key access. Although it could also mean to enter your unique 10 digit number ID where you would fill this number as part of your delivery address details for online purchases. I'll have to follow this up (re; what is a "box key"?) with customer service staff during business hours at this site, next time I'm in the Fitzroy neighbourhood.

If Australia was listed from the beginning of their tour news; I still would have booked a ticket to see them at 02 Arena as I was going to be in London anyway on vacation. I'm excited for Melbourne fans who have not yet seen them live before, whom now will have their chance to! 🎉
