C’est quoi ce gi ridicule? Et puis: il y a quelques défauts assez majeurs. Par exemple: à chaque jodan age tzuki, le talon arrière droit recule. Énorme faute de base. À la JKA, c’est élimination directe. Mais bon, on est dans la FFK, donc faut pas être trop exigeant…

That is almost exactly what we call Rohai, yet Rohai as practiced by shito/ryu is totally different. Rohai means crane, gankaku means crane on rock, so interesting how that may have come about from shito-ryu to to shotokan to moosulkwan taekwondo

Pauses without reason, speed for speed's sake alone, stances that are pretty but useless. In other words, a typical "Championship" performance. Our art is dead!

My Kata for January. Haven’t done it in 5 years due to really bad right knee. But got new knee in 2020. Been doing the complete Shotokan Katas since February 2021. Started with Tekki series , now ready for Gangaku. His performance is very powerful , solid and fluid. Oss.

I agree. I could do without the fake noises, too. She did this well, though. Enpi is really not an easy kata to perform well. IMO, it's actually one of the harder katas in Shotokan. Quick turns and very unnatural movements make it quite challenging.
