I use the Brother L2530DW. It takes 300gsm paper through the manual feed but any more than that and it struggles. It’s not the best printer for foil prints but the quality of the card is the most important thing. @@LulaRocks maybe it can feed 220-250 gsm bcoz 300gsm is too much to handle because its too thick.can u feed 220-250 gsm paper and willu update m the result?

To be honest, it’s not 100% clear. I attach them to my wholesale orders but not normal orders (just a CN22) and I’ve never had any issues in the 7 years I’ve been running my business. But I just googled it and lots of results are suggesting that you do need a commercial invoice so now I’m confused 😅 I’m sorry 😔

I design every pin myself and work closely with my manufacturer to bring those designs to life. While I don’t physically make the pins, the term "pin maker" is commonly used in the small business community to describe creators like me who design and oversee the production of their pins. It’s a collaborative effort 😊

Just to clarify, proof of postage is more about claiming the money back from Royal Mail for lost parcels rather than proving to your customer that you shipped it. Whether you can prove you shipped it or not, that customer has still paid and is entitled to either a refund or replacement. The proof of postage can be turned on in the settings of C&D under 'Label Format' and this will then generate along with your postage label. You then print it and take it to get signed or stamped when you ship the parcel. Hope that clears it up :)

It doesn't need linking to royal mail or any websites, all you have to do is follow the instructions provided to set up the software on your PC. Then when you are ready to print your labels, you can choose it as the printer so it's nice and straightforward :)

@@LulaRocks so are you saying it just prints labels without a platform for people to order from... and that we can't get a video tutorial with the label printer been connected to royal mail, shipstation and a website where people make orders and you set the label printer off to print labels for the orders to then ship out 🤔

@@onlyagreeingsometimes yes that's correct, you could print a picture of a cow on it if you really wanted to haha! It doesn't connect to any platform or website, just your PC.

Unfortunately not, the printer has a sensor that reads a chip on the label box so I doubt it would work with any other brand. You could try a different label printer like the one featured in my latest vlog: czcams.com/video/ThGZ8OB2PWE/video.html

@LulaRocks when you say it would work with any other brand.. are you saying it being Royal mail labels will works with other brand printer or this label printer will work with any other labels other than Royal mails labels 🤔 Obviously, some labels are cheaper than others, and to be restricted to what labels you can buy would seem a disadvantage. Oh, maybe there is an advantage that you need to do a video on.

@@onlyagreeingsometimes The Zebra label printer only works with Zebra branded labels unfortunately. You cannot use it with any other brand.

​​⁠ it would all depend on the reason and what your refund and return policy is to be honest. If the customer wants to return the item because they no longer want it, you would need to decide whether they will pay for the shipping or whether you will cover the cost. Again, if it’s a faulty item and they want a refund, will you pay for the return shipping, or allow them to keep the faulty item and just send them a replacement. There are quite a lot of variables. What I can tell you is that I don’t think you can get prepaid shipping labels through C&D to put inside a parcel with a personal account (but you may be able to with a business account), however, you could pay for a shipping label and email them a copy for them to print out on a parcel.
