Have you ever tried indolebutyric acid for roots? That or indoleacetic acid. These chems I have success with and it's the main ingredient in root hornone that is for sale. Also there's another one, but I can't remember it's name. ❤❤❤

Compañero yo he buscado en si plaguicidas naturales fuertes, ya que la mescalina del cactus no se defiende de los caracoles psicodélicos de mi jardín hahaha en el caso del nutriente, yo tengo una lombricomposta casera que hice con 2 baldes de 20 litros perforado uno en el fondo y el otro como recipiente de lixiviados, el lixiviado lo he usado para fertilizar mis cactus y unas que otras plantas, solo que el lixiviado debe hervirse o debe usarse alcohol en grado mayor al 70% para matar la mayor cantidad de microorganismos, una vez esto se diluye aproximadamente 30 a 100 ml de lixiviado que hervimos en un litro de agua, puedes usar mas o menos, eso depende de la temporada claro como sabemos los cactus en verano consumen mas nutriente y liquido, pero en invierno verter mucha cantidad puede ser letal para el abuelito san pedro. saludos desde ensenada México

What is the reason for T5? T= Tubular and 5= Diameter. The temperature of the color doesn't change going from LED to Fluorescent and I don't see a reason for shape and size of the lamp making a difference aside from the obvious (not enough light or getting burned).

I use limestone, native soil from the Chihuahuan desert (where they grow and its also where I live), sand, perlite, and a little bit of a cactus mix soil. The key is to let the soil dry. It cant dry properly when you have them inside a house with a grow light or even in a green house sometimes. Water will evaporate faster outside. I dont put them in direct sunlight but under a nursery plant or object. I bring them in when it rains and i collect rain water to water them with.

Jerry, at what temperature would you consider it to be too hot for the seedlings outdoors? I'm in Phoenix, AZ, so temps can get quite hot by late spring but would like benefits of outdoor growing as long as possible
