Aryan Invasion/ Migration Theory debunked with Padma Shri Dr. Nicholas Kazanas
Today, we have noted linguist Dr. Nicholas Kazanas on our show.
In our ‘Indo-European languages’ series, Today, we will discuss Nicholas Kazanas’s book, “Vedic and Indo-European Studies”
Welcome, Nicholas!
When the evidences from Sanskrit and the Rigveda are considered, the current theories about, for instance, the origin and development of language and religion are seen to be faulty and in need of thorough revision. In addition, the cumulative evidences from all these different areas show that the Indo-Aryans are indigenous to India from at least the 7th millennium BCE, that Vedic is much older than any other Indo-European language and closest to the Proto-Indo-European mother tongue.
Dr. Nicholas Kazanas is Greek-born. He was educated chiefly in Britain. He read English Literature in University College; Economics and Philosophy at the School of Economic Science; Sanskrit in the School of Oriental and African Studies - all in London. He did his post-graduate studies at SOAS and in Pune and Varanasi. He taught for some years in London. For more than; 20 years now he is the Director of Omilos Meleton, a Cultural Institute in Athens. He has various publications in Greek; several peer-reviewed academic Journals, Western and Indian, have printed his articles on Indology.

The fact that western linguists and so called scholars know nothing about Vedic Sanskrit and Rig Ved is really shocking. How can linguists reconstruct a language pre 1800b.c without dependency on Vedic Sanskrit exposes their unscientific and uninformed approach to Indo-European studies.

The second invasion happened in 1500bc. Steppe nomadic pastorolist (cattle herders) entered the indo gangetic plain. Young male biased groups entered the plains and subdued the natives evidently displacing a large section of the native male population. This dehumanising form of interracial human exploitation continued for 1500 years until 1900BO.and altered the complete demography of the indo gangetic plain making the genetic profiling identical, no difference between the Steppe and the native Indian genetic profiles. The result of 1500 years of indiscriminate interracial relationships. Endogamy and the consequent Caste system followed in 1900BP.

The Aryans invaded the Indian sub continent twice the first time in 1900bc was preempted by the Indus Valleys 5 million inhabitants. They evacuated and migrated South. Relevant Excavations failed to find human remains consistent with an invasion means the very large population moved to safer areas in south India The ASI have Indus ancestry but do not carry Steppe dna confirming that the the well settled IVC had to abandon their highly developed cities and migrate to other safer areas. Before any interaction..There is no evidence of a deteriorating climate or geography . The IVC inhabitants were a healthy happy flourishing and wealthy civilization.

Thank you for providing a comprehensive overview of the Tajik history and Persian language dynamics. Regarding Afghanistan I can say that 80-90 % population can speak and understand Farsi and it is a language every ethnic group communicate with each other and widely used as lingua franca. It's interesting to note the political motivations behind the shift from calling the language Farsi to Dari. It is since 1964 that the Dari replaced Farsi and promoted by the Afghanistan government. The decision behind to replacing Persian was more political than linguistic to support an Afghan state narrative. The distinction between Dari and Farsi in Afghanistan seems to be more of a formal designation imposed by the government, while the people continue to refer to their language as Farsi. The term Dari imposed upon them by the Afghan government as an effort detach Afghanistan from the deep-rooted culture, linguistic and historical connections with the wider Persian speaking world, especially Iran, Tajikistan. It's also noteworthy that, despite the formal shift in terminology, the linguistic similarities between the formal written Persian of Afghanistan and Iran, and the mutual intelligibility between them, remain strong. This highlights the deep historical and cultural connections that transcend political boundaries.
