Something's bent
As far as I can tell the spindle is bent. Difficult to see in the video but the rotor wobbles as it turns, pressing against the inner brake pad causing the squeak, causing the caliper to slide on the guide pins and move back and forth.

I think I need a new wheel bearing.

Finally hooked it up to the car to see if it would work. It works flawlessly and even responds faster than the stock VDO gauge. The formula for reading the tachometer pulses is: 30,000,000 / time between pulses = RPM Example: 30,000,000 / 30,000 = 1000 RPM (There's 30,000 microseconds between the rising edges of the ignition pulses at 1,000 RPM) This is interrupt driven, and I'm not averaging t...

+oTramausZ I'm not sure if it is the spindle that is bent or the bearing that is bad. It seems like the bearing isn't being held captive and is wobbling around in there, normally it takes a press get it out/in. I didn't feel like playing the guess and check game with parts so I went to the junkyard and grabbed one off a wrecked convertible. $35 dollars at pick-n-pull and $60 for a new timken bearing off Amazon.
