When that purple tape dropped in 1995 it change the game..I still play this album over this new garbage hip hop any day
Is he kissing the mic lol
Musical Talent!!!!
☆
Nice tribute but damn the audio levels everywhere
@@BuddhaJunkee appreciate it. I'm no master at that yet. Having to do this all by myself right now. Hopefully, I've gotten better since I put this vid out. I'm a work in progress lol.
sampling isnt hard.
TUUUFFFFFF
This is tuff 😭🔥
Crazy underrated channel.
@@Yungillegalbean thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I feel the same way.
"J Dilla saved my life"
@@M4LLYB I'm happy to see that people are still enjoying this video. J Dilla is my favorite producer so every February I like to do a tribute to him.
Naw I think it’s a new age brat maker producer if it’s a fire beat the best maker already did the dirty work and pic the instruments… beatmakers are artist as well
If your videos are properly SEO then you will be found in the search results of the CZcams search algorithm and thus your video views will gradually increase.
This is one of the greatest songs of a great concept album ✊🏾✊🏾💯
Think of it this way guys. When you make a song with a piano, you are using the piano as an instrument, an instrument that was created by someone else. If you make a beat by sampling, you are using a record, that was created by someone else, as an instrument.
Jada
Of Course it's hard.
Since NORE fcuked it up, let's do it right! I'll go first. Back in the day when I was a teenager....

The beat to takeover is better but as far as a diss track… Ether is superior. Jay spent too much time talking about Mobb deep than Nas on takeover & I’m sorry but he loses points for that on takeover. Ether is better. Nas is better than Jay & Nas the 🐐
Thank you for watching the video and for sharing your opinion. This gets no argument from me.
Classic Hip Hop
What is the song at 9:43
Thanks for asking. It's a beat that I made. I use it in a lot of my videos.
@@BackToTheBoomBap Pure fire Brother Keep it up
@@JanElhj255 thanks! Will do! 👊
20 FREAKING DILLA BEATS and NO "PLAYERS"...I guess this video is to let people know about the who's who that Dilla worked with but C'MON MAN
Damn I missed the 1st few seconds. Nevermind...I take it all back😊
@@MoDinidaGr8 you almost scared me at first. I was about to click on my own video again. I was thinking, there's no way I forgot that one. 😂😂😂😂
Bro, I almost spit out my coffee🤣I'm buggin...AWESOME video. "TURN IT UP"
@@MoDinidaGr8 😂😂😂thanks!

Why do Biggie have so much homosexual tendency rhymes.
Jr Swiftz beatmaking process = using Beat Butcha loops
You do it then
I love Pete Rock
Pac was a master of doing this very quickly
I agree with @waivz, Blaze made more of an impact on the album.. especially from the mainstream.. song cry and girls³ was the classic hitters
One of my top 10 emcees. People have no idea about how intricate and detailed Canibus rhymes are. I learned real science listening to Canibus.
The best with it
Why ain't nobody comment on this!!? Frank White Snapped!!!🤣
What a great time to be alive.... The Golden age of hip Hop
Exactly!
I fucking love this song
I just waiting her fame to fall off so I can cop her only fans.
DF was not limited to Outkast. You got to remember they produced water falls, don’t go envogue, Society Of Soul (which was really the first Neo Soul/Spoken word) album, Amy Winehouse, Curtis Mayfield. No disrespect but DF was on a whole different level production wise. They weren’t limited to sampling, they centered real musicians around their tracks when everyone else was sticking to the MPC and vinyls. Again no disrespect but the comparison is like Southside vs Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis from a musician (myself) stand point.
This song has so many iconic elements in it. For me it's a timesless classic made from other timeless classics and I ain't mad at that!
You ain't wrong, but she does switch it up a bit. When she does, it's glorious.
Homosexual tendencies
You definitely right. I still can't for the life of me understand why people say Nas won that battle?? Firstly Jay played the Big card and was just throwing shots. Nas was putting all he had into it. And a lot of what Jay said had actual merit and was true. Nas did have one hot album and that's so lame 🤪 and lastly if I remember correctly Jay signed Nas. So there is all you need to know about who the King is. Jay is the boss. And Nas can work if Jay say so 😂
Classic 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥.
Appreciate you! Watching a video from the archives.
4:58 But Alchemist Said Not To Get Hype on our beats, Which one should we follow😂
I think Doctors Advocate and The Documentary are dope as hell. When I first played em I had em on repeat.
Illmatic vs. Reasonable doubt. Illmatic hands down. But it was written vs. Reasonable doubt. Not happening. It was was 🔥 & the first album that put me on to who he was cause where I'm from and my age i wasn't exposed to hip-hop at the time really unless it had a video plus it was really all about snoop and Dre at that point. I didn't know Jay til "ain't no" But I went back and did the knowledge. But reasonable doubt is one of my top 10 prolly hip hop albums and "ain't no" the only song i skip on that one. Nas don't even come close to R.D. either with this or "I Am". And by "I am" I had bought the cassette the day of release.
I heard it was written first too. I already knew about Illmatic, but I was 11 or 12 so I didn't always have the money to buy albums. Illmatic vs Reasonable Doubt, I'd pick Illmatic. But RD is my favorite Jay album. Definitely a classic.
Wow man. I'm an old hiphop head and dj i agree with you
When reasonable doubt came out that’s all i played in my car. It was written was always in my car as well. But Reasonable Doubt was magic
I took the album intro off of IWW and included the bonus track Silent Murder to make it an even 14 tracks on each album. Can't Knock The Hustle vs The Message Politics As Usual vs Street Dreams Brooklyn's Finest vs I Gave You Power Dead Presidents II vs Watch Dem Niggas Feelin' It vs Take It In Blood D'Evils vs Nas Is Coming 22 Two's vs Affirmative Action Can I Live vs The Setup Ain't No Nigga vs Black Girl Lost Friend Or Foe vs Suspect Coming Of Age vs Shootouts Cashmere Thoughts vs Live Nigga Rap Bring It On vs If I Ruled The World Silent Murder vs Regrets
It was written was a hard album
The great of any time nas
Nas is the 🐐 G.O.A.T.
