This is my 2010 CTS wagon that was originally a V6 car. It’s been LS swapped, all features work including the factory gauges and ice cold a/c. This has been a fun build to say the least! Stay tune for more updates and builds!

It’s been a nice little build. From a Copart CTS wagon with a 3.6L to a LSA topped 401ci LS backed with a 6L90e and all the goodie’s that come with the territory. Today I removed the V6 AWD 3.6L in my garage using basic tools, jack stands, a cherry picker, a couple jacks, and some furniture dollies from HF to help roll the engine/trans combo from underneath the car once removed. This is the first video to document my 2nd Gen 1978 Camaro LS build. It’s has an aluminum 6.0L with L92 heads(L76), Brian Tooley dual valve spring kit, Comp Cam, Speed Engineering 1 7/8 LT headers, full 3” Speed Engineering x-pipe s.s. 304 exhaust w /single chamber mufflers, Flowmaster 3” tail pipes, built TH350 w/3200 TCI stall converter, 3.42 posi traction rear end, and Cosmis XT-005R 18 wheels.

Picked up this snowmobile with a 540cc engine for my kart build. This is going to be interesting!!! I really want to trade it for a dune buggy project that I can LS swap, make street legal, and just have a blast! But if that doesn't happen, the death kart build will continue.....
Engine run stand build...."Summit Racing clone"

I built a new run stand based off the one Summit Racing sells. All together it wasn't $80 in materials. I used a local shop, Alro Metals, and they have a "b" stock section. That's where I sourced all of my tuning. It is a 2x3 box tubing setup that breaks down and stores against the wall.

These intelletronix gauges look nice, but aren't the most accurate. However, for the money one can't complain. The setup is a LQ9 stock longblock with a BTR Stage 4 truck cam. Lope is everything!!!

This swap was started by the owner and brought to me for some finishing touches to get it running. Now that it is running and driving, the upgrades will begin. Upgrades include lt headers, full 3" exhaust, engine bay wire tuck, and possibly a supercharger!

@@gols1go1 I'm currently just doing a 5.3 swap I was wondering if it was compatible with transmission that comes in the car rear wheel drive automatic
And if so what flywheel torque converter you are using
They currently has the 6L50. I was trying to stay with that if possible
@@KH-ze8my that trans will not physically bolt up to a regular LS. It might be the same bolt pattern as the fwd LS that came in the Impala SS…?

Awesome job I've watched each of videos a few times on the CTS. Few questions Did you use the factory V6 engine computer and just reprogram it for the LS or did you use the harness and computer from a v?
@@blackrockfabrication6858 you’ll need a V engine harness and a E67 ecu programmed with a V calibration

I been wanting to do this swap for 2 yrs but never knew how involved it was to make it feel factory. Also where did you get the lsa engine harness? I cant find one anywhere. They all say discontinued in most gm websites.
Do you leave the seals out so you can take it in and out easier for adjustments? Or does having the seals in mess with the travel?

Alot of guys are corny and bs way too much. You are straight to the point and have good, interesting content. I always wondered if anyone had swapped a wagon before. I also have a g8 i plan on swapping too. Keep up the good work 💪🏽
