I am more into long range shooting so prefer scoped rifle shooting over ar style shooting. Having said that, I’ve used about every different type of optic suitable for an AR15 from the elcan, acog, holo-sights, red dots, also including the top 4 highest rated LPVOs and settled on an eotech exps3-4 and a g45. I can easily and quickly hit 10” steel out to 500 yards even in awkward shooting positions. Tho wind is hard, but at such short distances, it’s hard with an LPVO as well. The G45s eye box is more forgiving to me than any of the LPVOs. One thing to keep in mind when shooting with an eotech and mag combo, parallax still doesn’t matter, you don’t have to wait for a perfect sight picture even with the magnifier. Even so, it is still easier to find it for me. I use a Unity FTC and have a .5” cheek riser on my Sop-mod stock. It has the added benefit of being the best night vision set up. Just remember that when you put on nods, the magnifier goes in the pouch the nods came out of. I just wanted one do all semi auto shtf leave the house rifle, so this is what I settled on. Even tho, to be honest I still do have multiple different rifle set ups…

At my local grocery store last year, I watched the same vacuum packed ham and salt pork pack sit for 2 months (observing on each of my weekly grocery trips) completely mold ridden and just green -brown-grey sludgey without being removed from the shelf. Salt pork! This has been going on for a while you gotta be cautious . I’ve even seen “packed today” ground beef that was rotten.

First off, love the channel! I live in St Augustine Fl and work in a town west of here. Poor county. I’m a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 30 years (former LEO). -folks can’t afford to bury their loved ones and are hard pressed to pay for a cremation!! Never seen anything like this in my life!! - vehicles on car lots have poor inventory and cost is major money! - in the south gun stores rarely go out of business 😁. Where I live, average rent is about 2300$ a month!!! Mortgage rate are between 2900 upwards of 5 k or more a month (friends with several realtors). I’m blessed, my wife and I are debt free and I truly don’t know how folks can manage!!!

We are having the same problem with expired food here as well and we’re in Oklahoma. I thought it was just one grocery store so we switched and it was fine for a couple of weeks then I came across yogurt that had expired 3 months before! It’s not just where you’re at unfortunately.

For me .22lr would be the first choice (and probably the only choice if i have to carry the ammo) in a SHTF scenario. I rather have one handgun + one rifle using the same cheap ammo that i would have trained a lot with than several different guns with different ammo types each. Thats why i plan to get a .22lr bolt action and a DA revolver also in .22lr when my probation year is over. After i find my favorite ammo type for the rifle i stock up on 10k rounds of ammo so that i can shoot 5k rounds a year and still have 5k left at all times.

I guess I have not noticed the gun store closures... I have not been able to afford to buy anything for the last 3 years, so I haven't even gone into one to look. So this doesn't surprise me in the least, if I'm this way financially so are many other people.

I just had to return a beef roast "kit" (with the veggies) because my wife opened the meat yesterday to throw in the slow cooker, and it smelled rancid. The customer service lady at Walmart said they have seen numerous meat products being returned due to spoilage, etc. in the last couple months. Along with all of the things that MP mentioned, and others have mentioned in comments suggest that our food supply chain is 100% in decline at more than just a local scale, and has been for the last few years.

On the grocery note, I buy groceries for my office (my employer provides us whatever we want, they're amazing). We make a trip once a week and we have to really watch what we buy because there is expired food on the shelf every week, and there has been for at least the last year. Sometimes you dig all the way to the back and the best you can find is expiring the day you're buying it. This is fresh produce, meat, dairy, and canned food. Canned food doesn't bother me, but I used to never see anything that was close to expiring. BTW this is in Oklahoma. Used vehicles are pretty out there here now too. 3/4 ton pickups in rough shape are 5k+. If it's in any kind of shape (ie runs reliably, no major rust, good tires) I've seen a 1990 f250 for 17k private sale (it was gone in 1 week). I bought a 90 F250 in 2016 for 800 bucks and drove it 1.5 hours home and it's still my farm truck. The only work I've done on it it was replace the brakes. These 5k trucks out there now probably won't make it home and most need half that much more in parts to be reliable. On that note, parts that you get for anything are trash nowadays too. My brother bought a mechanical fuel pump for his old truck and has had to replace it 4 times and has driven a grand total of 10 miles on ALL 4 PUMPS. That is insane! He doesn't want to do electric but I going to have to. I haven't noticed the LGSs going away now, that happened here several years ago. There are still plenty of gun shops around, but they're the biggerish ones.

Based on the configurations on the table, Glock, M18, M9, USP, 1911. The Glock only beats the M18 for me because it has a weapon light which is more useful than an optic. All 3 fde pistols are solid and it really comes down to the attachments.

If your retailer has expired food, contact the local health department. That’s an extreme violation and could result in their license getting pulled.

We have dear friends who are rocking multigenerational living. HUGE home built 12-15 years ago- 4,000 sq ft at least. My friends and their youngest 2 children live in the basement apartment/ 4 bed/ 2 bath. One of their young adult sons & wife & baby are in a portion of the apartment. Both her parents and his parents live on the main level. The attic apartment is split in 2 sections. One of their sons (who also works for his dad) lives in the attic and his soon to be wife will be moving in next month. Another son lives jn the other half if the attic apartment- and he is getting married in October. My friend’s brother lives in a camper on the property. Our 23 yr old is living in a camper on our property. Our 19 yr old has a full time job but rent is too expensive so no hurry to move out. He also works on vehicles and small engines so needs space for that side hustle if he moved out. Things are getting very expensive quickly. I am in central NC living right outside a fairly large city.

It is amazing how the Gun stores here in Washington State are hanging in there with a "Assault Weapon Ban" that they are hanging in there. They are doing less hours and one I go to is closed Sunday and Mondays, but the indoor range is open. An ever-popular meat market in my area is shutting their doors. I know the one by my work are always glad to see me. Store prices are really tough for running a restaurant and keeping the customer flow when the prices are getting higher and higher.
