These capsule house concept is ok as holiday stay place or motels or as mountain resort option..

Rent is your number one expense , so if you have it on a rent free setup, then your dad just saved you a ton of money in the long run. If you have a lot of stuff, get a portable storage unit or a intermodal conex box to stow it and save money bypassing a storage unit expense. Get a sturdy bike and try to find any job within a reasonable biking distance and start saving for a car. Prices will crash, because Americans are broke. Soon, you will be able to buy your dad the muscle car he always dreamed of having. Take care.
