Aerosmith Peace Out tour - Love in an Elevator
This was played on the first night of the "Peace Out: The Farewell Tour" in Philadelphia. About one week later, after the show in Elmont, NY, it was discovered that Steven Tyler's vocal cords were injured. The rest of the tour would be postponed.
In April of 2024, the ban announced new dates for the tour.
On August 2, 2024, The band announced its retirement from touring. Tyler was unable to recover from the injury.

They did! I had been a fan for a very long time and it was my first Aerosmith concert. I was considering going to the one later in the tour in Washington, D.C. Glad I chose Philly!

Pretty awesome, guys. I know that this effort was in response to the covid shutdown, but the planning that went into this route shows what is possible really anytime someone (or two) wants to go out and get after a given race! From my viewpoint, this is advantageous over an actual event, as it omits a lot of the noisy crowds that normally line the routes of regular races (I know that 99.9% of those people are very positive, but I find myself doing my level best to block them out during my run). Also, it looks like you picked a heck of a great day for it, weather-wise, and your route seems like you avoided as much of traffic congestion as possible; on that point, did you wind up running on the Henry Hudson Trail for most of the distance? I've seen that path outlined on some maps before, and have since been curious if it's only for bikes or not. Anyway, great job, and congratulations on the race and the finish.

@@ChrisBerinato Small World! I was in the Nautilus Patrol. I don’t remember many of the kids other than the ones from my home troop. Was looking to show my son and nephews the video, who are 11-15 YO and is scouts now and interested in the attending the Jamboree and Philmont. I’m glad I found this on CZcams! I had the VHS tape from Jambo ‘89, but no player. Thanks for putting this online!
