I had the same dome light problem on a 2007 Explorer. I was about to buy a new key cylinder but after watching this video I used a washer with an O.D. of 7/16 inch. Problem gone. I only had to grind down the edge a small amount. Thanks for posting this video.

Mine has cataracts from diabetes! Suggestions? Currently she’s on ocu-glo supplement which my vet said is a miracle worker but it’s only been 3 weeks or so. Of course still getting her glucose levels under control with vet visits every week. Im so worried about irreversible vision loss for her though so want to try everything

Why not give Vit C Sodium absorbate powder 1/4 tsp in 30 ml water for small dogs, each day just syringe inside of mouth daily, it works for so many things anything to do with the immune system.

Exact same issue. AC dripping right on wires and corroded the connection into the trans. Hard shifting, limp shifting, not knowing what to do. All caused by the AC condensate draining on the trans. Replacement of the internal part was $700 and had a hose put in at the same time. Unfortunately this was not one of Ford's better ideas.

Had this exact issue with my 2010 sport trac. Ac was dripping right on one of the connectors and corroded the entire thing. Transmission went into limp mode and was reading 22 different transmission codes.

I have a 10 year old Rat Terrier…her mom is completely blind…my baby has one that has taken completely over her right eye and one coming on her left eye. I took her to a specialist…he said that she would have to have surgery. I recently got a post card from them telling me that it’s time for her check up. My question is…is it to late to try this???…and how long do you think it would take to see a difference. I do not have a few thousand dollars for the surgery…any advice would help me right now, she been my little side kick.. my best friend that has saw me through some painful times…she’s my little shadow…I what to help her out as much as I can. Thank You for sharing this…if anyone can share something with me, it would be greatly appreciated

Thank you!!! this fixed my 2008 explorer! cut off the edge of washer just as you described and it provides just enough to keep pressure on switch so the interior lights dont come on when car is running!! Thank you for posting this fix! toughest part was getting the washer into the socket. 5 minutes and it was fixed! i was considering buying a new ignition switch.
