On 27th March 2020, South Africa went into Lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. While the country stood still, dancers at the Indoni Dance Academy kept moving.
Award-winning choreographer Sbonakaliso went to each of the dancer's homes in the townships and directed their solo performances - ending in a finale of coming together on stage, wearing masks, at Artscape Theatre in Cape Town.

This is beautiful, for lack of a better word.
Absolutely beautiful. I wish I could distinguish between what is actually vocalized vs. synthesized; it seems (from other videos) that Robert can bend his voice to make all sorts of unearthly sounds. I've taught myself several forms of throat singing ONLY from watching CZcams -- never heard a real person -- and Robert certainly has plenty to teach!
