When closing the knife push the blade lightly into the handle and push the lever spring down fully, then release the blade. That will allow the blade to sit deep inside the handle. Both of my Hubertus knives blade tips are exposed if I don’t use this technique.

I heard the blade pops out and shoots off the lock sometimes

I used to have one of the these, a blue one over here in Australia. I unfortunately lost it when I had people over to help me move house. Do you guys know a sneaky squirrel way of being able to import another one at all? They are really difficult to get through customs and I don't want to spend that much money just for it to get confiscated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Craig.

I finally got one on order. 3 years of waiting

I'm going to regret buying this knife for how expensive it is, but I'll get over it. This is a sexy edc and it's real purpose is for eating apples. I can't wait to poke apples with it then carve and eat em off of that spear point. I believe they would taste so good off of that stiletto steel blade. Some people say they deploy slow but I think it's because they need to ever-so-slightly adjust the screw by the axis lock to align the blade to center it. Once you center it then it's locked and loaded.
