This man is a genius and a visionary. He cares so passionately about his animal patients and wants to give humans with spinal cord injuries options for a better future, even with renewed mobility. He is the vanguard for utilizing cross disiplines to help all species. He invents technology and surgical hardware for cutting edge procedures and then gives freely of his knowledge and discoveries. He is also compassionate and driven. He will never cause suffering of an animal only for scientific advances. Any operations he does is for the benefit of the pet and any scientific advance is gravey. I am in awe of his compassion, intelligence, vision and generosity. He's my hero. The world benefits from his gifts.
