I have automatic cars driving license. can I drive audi with 7-speed S Tronic transmission?

We have two VAG cars. A Skoda Octavia DSG and an Audi TT [auto]. Skoda is clearly a DSG, but because Audi have offered 'Multitronic' (CVT) and 'S Tronic' (DSG) [and previously 'Tiptronic' (torque converter auto)], because to the driver they operate in the same way, and because there is nothing in the car's paperwork to confirm which my car is equipped with, the problem is finding out for certain if your car is 'Multitronic' or 'S Tronic', and finding that out seems to be difficult! Nowhere can I find a definitive list of which cars were equipped with which boxes.

Audi S Tronic is by far the best transmission I’ve ever had it’s leaps and bounds ahead of everything else. In automatic mode you can feel the gears shifting automatically but it’s such a smooth transition in so quick and then of course tip Tronic gives you all the benefits of driving a manual But much faster shipping there’s no clutch just keep your foot on the gas and shift

Can anybody answer me some stronic concerned questions please? 1) Can I change D to S and back to D during driving without any other steps? 2) What if I'm in situation, where I'm accelerating a little and "need" a downshift? Can I use paddle to shift down while pushing the gas pedal without causing any harm to the transmission? 3) In manual mode I'm pulling up the car on a light stop. Can I stop the car on 2nd gear and then downshift to 1st gear when the car is stationary? Or should I shift to 1st gear sooner due to RPM? 4) Is it normal to hear the shift from 2nd to 3rd gear with no load? Can't hear any other gear change other than 2 to 3 and even that is with almost no load. Under the load everything is silent and all I can hear is the exhaust. Only 70k km on the gearbox so far. If the described situation isn't completely normal, what is to blame? Mechatronic part? 5) Should the transmission be completely smooth in a car from 2010? Sometimes when the car goes without pushing the gas pedal I can notice a little lagging on the 2nd gear. I can imagine this is a nature of the older automatics transmissions, just wanna know :-) Thanks, P.

I wish they gear knob shifted up if pulled back, and shift up when pushed forward. It is almost impossible to relearn this lol

So today I tried Sport mode in my 2014 Q5 TFSI and it didn’t seem to shift up when I pushed the stick forward , do I have to press the lock button on the side of the stick or just simply push the stick ?
