i just saw one of your older videos when you were talking about the plug on 7500 you said you had a cover to hide all the wires! if you are covering the back and no air can flow through the back of the amps that is why you are having problem the amps have to have a good air flow through front and back
You are right, but no. The amps were not covered.The covers went above the amp and below, covering the wires from the driverack and below covering the electrical wires.
it sounds to me you may have weak dc power coming in that will make the amps go out if there power coming in is weak i have not had any problems with any of my ipr2 amps!! the voltage reg lets me know if the power is weak and if it is i have to go another way if the input power isn't 120 to 130 i do not use that power outlet
@@johnnyellis9494 the power was perfectly fine coming in to the app. Since this video, I’ve had two 7500s and two 5000. All four amplifiers have been back to PV for various issues such as loose ground, bad soldering just to name a few. I’m not knocking the company, but I will blame it on the manufacturing being that it’s done in China. I’ve switched out those amplifiers and sold all four of them. I am now using the Wasi amplifier. That one amplifier out played all four of the Peavey amplifiers.
i have peavey ipr2 3000 with dsp have been running them for 6 years and no problem so far with those i have the 5000 for 3 years no problem! i just bought the 7500 and have used it for about 4 months and all of these amps i have push them hard and have had no problems!!! i do have a voltage reg to make sure my voltage is not being under powerd! if your power is weak that is the fastest way to take the amps out
Well I use all programs they all do the same damn thing only thing they did is update the software to change the pictures add a little effects people want to hear that music some people trying to keep up the Joneses where does wasting money we supposed to be DJing not trying to turn the DJ equipment into the studio nice easy work my Grandmaster DJ hidden sink that's why I tried to do different things because things is changing I ain't complaining I did my 40 years now it's better than carrying a whole bunch of crates around every day but I still love my 12-in records out the computer I'll go out and show people I still can do it people love the turntable beautiful sounds it's a good feeling

Hey, first video I found on the topic. I couldn't find where to buy the plugin for serato - it wasn't explained "*where* to go to buy it unless I missed it. I did see a tab that says "Expansions" once I'm in the setup menu, but serato is confusing having 2 separate and different tabs marked "expansions"...
If your on serato and go to expansions it will show what you have, if you don't see what you want then log into your serato account and you make your purchase there. Make sure that whatever you're using in the expansion is checked on each one. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure if the Rane 1 iis mappable like that. I only had the Rane 1 for about a month and returned it

Yes, you can use the performance pads by selecting the sampler button on your controller. Check the gain (marked sampler ) on your controller or look at the gain on Serato by the sampler section on the screen.

I have a question please. I’m a mobile DJ looking at purchasing one of these to further tailor/enhance/limit front of house sound. The remote app also appeals to me. My system is 2x EV EKX-12P active tops and 2x EV EKX-18SP active subwoofers. The DSP control on these speakers have the option to system-match the crossover i.e. the high pass for the tops can be set to EKX-18SP (or other EV models) and the low pass for the subs can be set to EKX-12P (or other EV models). Would I be able to route the signal flow/configure the settings in the DriveRack so the above is maintained? I don’t want the DriveRack crossover controls to supersede the speakers’ system-matched settings. N.B. The outputs on EKX subwoofers are hardwired as a thru output (no DSP out) i.e. they’re always sending a full range signal (see this video explanation - EV ELX200, EKX & ETX Crossovers | How they work and why they are not good options for column arrays - CZcams). Any help appreciated.
Yes, you can use the driverack with the EVs. I've used it with the EKX15p (mains) & ETX18sp (subs). I've upgraded my DriveRack to the PA2 and is using it with my iPad or Macbook. The EVs DSP is pretty good and probably better than most that I've seen and heard. I understand your concern when it comes to the output on the sub being a THRU and not DSP. I actually like it that way so that "I" can set the cut off frequencies to my liking. There are some SUBS that have a THRU & Filter. With the EKX 12 & 18 that system is a great for FOH.

i have a laptop and use Serato DJ Pro. the last month or so, the red light on the top right of the serato comes on. i've been using this program for years and just now experiencing this issue. please help!

How do you adjust the sampler volume on Rane One dj controller?
I have (2) Ipr2 3000's. They have been running at a 4 ohm load for 9 years now with mobile band. No Problems and have preformed flawlessly.
my 2 3000 working good have used them for 6 years and 5000 for 2 years and 7500 for 4-6 months and no problems at all

Qsc 5050a vs nu 12000 who have more power
They are both good amps. Here is the pros and cons for both (I've played both). The QSC has a warmer sound and plays harder under pressure. If you have good power going to it, It'll play all day with 8 speakers on it. 2000w x 2 BASS, 2500w x 2 full range and it weigh 75 lbs. The weight is the only thing I don't like. The NU12000 - they say 6000w x 2 but it's more like 4000w x 2. still not bad. But that is rated at 2 ohms ( playing 8 speakers). It will play all 8 but if you push it too hard it will go into protect for about 1 - 2 secs. it only weighs 25 lbs. So Nu 12000 has more power but the QSC had the durability.

why my Tidal track keeps cutting off, it only play half of the song in Serato.
That happened to me once before. When in did, it was the internet speed. The internet wasn’t keeping up at the time.

Sorry but I've sold the Peavey amps and went another route. I couldn't depend on them any more.
i have an eight core mac book pro and i an getting buffer problems.I got it to mix video and that when it complains the most .All non serato programs are turned off and the fans are on full but still i get this issue

Wasi is an awesome power amp. 2 ohm load makes the amp work harder and hotter.
The amp never got hot. The amp is a beast.

I sold all 4 amps and bought a WASI W15K4. That one amplifier replaced all 4 of the Peavey’s.
