NEW ZEALAND - Cinematic Travel Film | Sony a6500
A couple of years ago I got invited on a road trip around the South Island of New Zealand with 2 incredible creators, neither of which I'd met until the trip! We visited some unbelievable places and had the best times over the 8 days we travelled around! This is such a special film to me, exploring my country and making 2 amazing friends, hope you all enjoy it!

@Michael Roberts One of the best films about Milford. Everytime i watch i feel like visiting the place. great job Mike. I have couple of questions w.r.to shooting. 1. May i know how much % of shots were filmed handheld and on gimbal? 2. Whats your most used lens on gimbal? 3. Do you frequenly switch lenses , balance the gimbal and shoot or use the pre balanced camera+lens setup on gimbal. keep up the great work

Hi what picture profile did you use?
Pp8, change the gamma to cine4, colour to cinema, detail to -3 for 1080p and -7 for 4k
What picture profile did you use? Or what settings did you have the camera on. Have recently bought one and my footage looks terrible compared to this and I’ve tried every picture profile variation and setting change that’s supposed to help etc.
Picture profile is pp8, gamma to cine4, colour to cinema, detail to -3 for 1080p and -7 for 4k. Shot on the Sigma 30mm 1.4 at f/1.4 most of the time at 1080p 60 or 120fps and shutter speed double the framerate. Hope that helps!

What drone 5" or bigger? Wondering flight time chasing cars at 50mph or more.
Yeah 5"! Can't remember exactly but was decent, think I only got 3 flights in and that was all this footage and more
@Michael Roberts oh wow. I have someone wants me to video him his friends at private event. Was thinking I'd have to use atleast 6" or 8" cause my batteries would die fast. They also going to be going slower than those pros though.
@@GregQuillen Yeah guess it depends how long you're wanting to be in the air for. There was a lot going on here so it was pretty full on the whole time I was flying haha
@Michael Roberts they do 1 car at a time. Figure bare minimum 3.5mins. Cause waiting then following a lap and getting back. But really wish it can stay up 4 to 5mins. My 8" can do it all day but it just doesn't feel agile lmao though I never ran it with a small battery . Think Evo F6 with high pitch prop for speed might give me extra 30sec. I got time though. Ain't happening for a little while.
