watching eem triplin blow made me feel extra hopeless. i used to use his type beats before he blew as an artist and when he blew it was fast. people don’t realize though he built up his beat making page and was one of the more popping type beat creators so he already had a good following

ngl ur eq sense isn’t very high, u need to know where certain hz are suppose to lay so yk where u need to sweep cut n boost, the “filter” when ur rolling off just always roll off at 100hz and you’ll be fine w that roll off

I kinda think you’re wrong. For me it’s not boring once I hear a beat I really like I get smacked with dopamine and start coming up with lyrics and making voice notes I think the approach ur describing is making it manful and boring. Sitting in ur room looking at a computer with a notebook is like homework obviously it’s gonna feel boring get out and listen to some beats and get some initial inspiration or excitement then you can go to the pen and paper and computer
