That's a shame no one wants to port/remaster this version. I'd like crispy graphics
2:11 wtf vertical scroll interruption
Question. how do I get a hold of you? cuz I have a jaguar that’s in need of repair badly. And I do think you’re the guy to pull it off. Please help!!
If you have discord you can send me a message there :) I'm very busy right now though so it might take a while until I have time to work on it! :(
Laser was the PC brand of VTech, they were popular in the Netherlands.
Love to see fixed old Motherboards, good job. 👍
Hello! What you do with all these repaired parts, it's always worth value wise or part of the value is the entertainment and knoweledge you gain from the diagnosis and repair?
Depends, but mostly both actually! I also tend to give boards to other people if they need them, or sometimes cheap/uninteresting ones I sell for cheap :) I get a lot of satisfaction from fixing even weird cheap boards and other components, so that makes it worth it. Value wise, some of them aren't technically worth it. But objectively speaking I never come out of scrap deals with a "net loss" :D For example, that ECS K7VZA was definitely *not* worth investing the time in. But it was a lot of fun anyway! But the worth of the whole scrap set is offset by the MSI ALI board and the Slot A stuff (which doesn't fully work yet sadly)
@@Oerg866 cool I have so much stuff to recap that I can't even get my head around to try repairs but people like you are always a great inspiration!
Biggest respect for replacing those slots. I did that once with a corroded PCI slot and ot took me hours. Btw, personally I would prefer no distracting background music while you're talking. But maybe that's just signs of me aging ;-)
That's a fair point! :) I experimented a while back with "silent" videos but they don't seem to appeal to people as much :(
Dank dir. 👍👍👍
Your channel is extremely underrated
That's exactly how I see it. From a technical aspect it is one of the best. I could watch him all day
thank you so much for the kind words ♥♥
Pretty decent sound on the Trident card, also, 6MB sample set? That's not bad at all!
What's the deal with OEM boards vs the others?
The BIOS is generally more locked down and it's harder to overclock them and do granular adjustments of timings for obtaining the best performance. Occasionally they will also be physically handicapped, often missing things like AGP or ISA slots that are populated on their otherwise identical counterparts. Usually to save a few cents on component cost and to prevent an upgrade path that allows the machine to be useful for a longer period. (planned obsolescence)

Thanks for your contribution to the retro PC scene
YES!!!
Einfach nur geil. Danke. Echt! Sehr sehr geil.
dankeschön! :)
6:03 - is it runtime rendering (the same question about 6:13) or it uses simple 2D sprites?
For those who's wondering, ROM has 8.6MB size. It's more than Pier Solar and Demons of Asteborg. Maybe it's the reason why developers didn't use these effects
1:40 ahhhhh memories! I'm pretty sure I've heard that same error!

The old update on TitANS website talk about Overdrive cartridges. Has there been any news since?

At now 40 years old, I'm repairing one of these. Idler tyre needs replacement due to take-up reel issues, along with pretty much all the electrolytic caps that are leaking. Who knows what else! Very high end for 84.
Da freu ich mich drauf. Du machst das immer richtig Klasse. Vielen Dank fürs Video.
Immer wieder ein Vergnügen. Dankeschön 😀😀
Absolutely awesome!
nintendo has been real quiet since this dropped
Good job ❤
now whats most interesting - is that 2D vector polygons or 3D polygon?
Scheiss FC Köln
They hacked the Mega Drive so hard that Overdrive 3 will find a way to make the SN76489 output stereo sound!

I'm so endlessly sad those days have gone... one of the best times of my life, still very young. Just happiness, fun, great music, great friends, difficult to describe, I miss those times so badly.
GeForce 6200 supports WDDM 1.0. Auto-install on Windows Vista and newer.
To run Aero, you need a WDDM-compatible video card.
