Thank you father for answering my question about family prayer! I must have asked the right priest because we pray the rosary as much as possible with our children and it is so chaotic. I was looking for tips! But I feel hopeful hearing your answer that we aren't so far off. Just have to keep on going.😅

Juan that question even in the hand and at a Novus Ordo mass, even if the Priest is a sinful man, if your heart and soul are clean it's not sinful.🙏🙏 Then the double guilt would be on the priest, I personally would rather have Holly Comunion on my knees and in my mouth. This question I have seen answered by plenty Bishops and Priests. I would ask: Is a Novus Ordo Priest obliged to give the Holy Comunion in the mouth to a person that suffers Parkinson or his hands are atrophied by a stroke for example?

Regarding the question of visiting the Tabernacle, does this include not touching the curtains attached to the glass case? Also lighting the oil candles on either side when no Priest is around to do so?

I was raised a catholic in India, currently settled in the US. My hindu teacher once made a comment in the class regarding communion line. He said the line indicates that there is no difference between male or female, young or old, rich or poor, single or married when we receive communion. This came from a non-believer.

So going to mass after say 4:30 on sat means that satisfies our Sunday obligation ? I always thought that was something new that came out of Vatican 2 ? Unless it’s a midnight mass my priest said that we are still obligated to go on Sunday .
