Watched this again and japanese talents here are from the AKB48 group. There are other talented japanese idols and trainees that will probably meet up to the standards, at least on what the judges wanted.
The girl in the green and white outfit is super fucking pretty where is she now?
In jpop, it’s actually not rare for someone with no experience to debut, it’s really all about the growth and development they learn while being in the group, that why they hold “graduations” for members who were able to learn and grow from their groups
it's so ironic how, now, it feels like kpop idols tries so hard to be like jpop idols
I know tht most people want to cheer on the jidols but honestly yall sound like youre rosting them lol
Fraude show
Reading the Korean comments, Japanese people and Koreans really hate each other huh 🤣 well they don’t even recognize their own shitty comments and industry when it is basically the same trash
Ikr!!
trash hates fellow trash 🤣🤣
From what I can understand the jpop idol culture is bascially like Jin's Super Tuna and Spine Breaker choreos. The technique isn't important as long as its fun!
This!!
Just realizing S.Korea right now is basically like Japan during it's cultural international heights. Back when this kiddy bs stuff WASN'T the norm. When having actual talent meant something vs being a pedophiles fantasy.
It's because the music industry's culture is different in Japan. I've seen many japanese idols dancing, and compared to korean idols, they looked lacking in skills. This video proves it. They debut but don't really train before doing it.
Lots of girls like Takeuchi Miyu deserve better. I've known her since the early era of AKB48. She's so talented in music, yet she didn't get the recognition she deserves in AKB. Then, this rigged show is literally wasting her precious time. Sakura? nah I think akb fans already know that she got all the push from the management for years..
That's because Takeuchi Miyu was a shitty J-idol. Yes, she's super smart, skilled and talented, but that doesn't mean her toolkit includes the things that make for a good national level J-idol. IIRC they had put her at center for her generation and then she lost the position. They wanted her at center for her singing, and they probably liked her for her smarts and temperament, but she was awful at variety in particular which made her hard to push.
Who is she?? She is ex member of Girlgroup or what?? Any information please..😂
No she’s the choreographer for many iconic girl groups that were known for their dances
This generation has given birth to many K-Pop idol who are influential in gen 4
Idk but japanese girls are so pretty and make me wanna listen even if they can't sing or dance, they seem very funny and i want to know more about them... Meanwhile in kpop i feel like everything is rehearsed, everything was on a script and nobody is genuine
Get started~ let's get started~🐐🐏
It’s really sad to see that J-idols get practically no training from their companies and still get sent on these survival shows with 0 preparation. The only thing that keeps a lot of these girls afloat is their time and experience as idols. Rarely do they get vocal, dance or rap training. They’re just thrust onto the stage and left to their own devices.
That is not the case for all JPOP Idols but a trully a reality for AKB48GROUP girls, given they have to be approachable😅... Although the lastest Generations are lest raw and a little more trained
the return of the king
Korea just has better pop, while Japan has a better music scene for every other genre. Their pop groups are different, sucks they set these girls up though
Jpop is more than idols dumbass
cookie jar is a bop and umpah umpah is their best song !!
Umpah umpah really was amazing, was so torn in where to put it 😭
What is your personal song of the year title track for Red Velvet?
I'm glad you did birthday justice!! Maybe you could rank girls generations title tracks?
I would love to rank Girls' Generations title tracks! The sone in me will be going to war for that video 🤣
Japanese = kawaii Korean = perfect killing machines
Yes like sakura machines encore 😂
Everyone commenting the lines without the time stamp you greedy uncultured swines, you’re welcome 1:05 1:33
I've always loved this PD because of the Japanese idols/trainees. It gave a new meaning to entertainers for me. Because I've been exposed more on KPOP, I always look for groups that dances the best or sings the best but sometimes I forget to look for the group/people that enjoy themselves. As what the japanese idol said, AKB is more of a cheerleader than an idol. their fans wanted to see them have fun and enjoy themselves while singing and dancing first of all. Also, KKURA sempai and the other Japanese idols are robbed. This shit is rigged.
i can’t even imagine how i would react during this if i didn’t have much training in dance and had to freestyle??? i would just break down and cry on stage 💀
at least now the Japanese trainees can take what they learned on PD48 and use their talents back in japan
You are aware most of the Japanese trainees (AKB48GROUP members) graduated already from entertainment 😅😂
oh- im sad now@@kyokugo6460
The Japanese idols look and act so much like us normal girls. Very relatable and funny. The korean idols are always so polished and like Goddesses. No matter how relatable a kpop idol is she still acts in a certain way. And j-idols are exacy like us who are at awe thinking we will never be like them.
Normally the JPOP artist that are Not IDOL are polished like KPOP Idols😅
4:06 who is she?
Blue: Nakano Ikumi Fur jacket: Matsui Jurina
@@hearttokean thank you !
probably because of this show, Japanese idols have leveled up so much in recent years that there's almost no difference
Already by then many JPOP groups were at the same level, It's just the AKB48GROUP wasn't, And I dare say it's not still😅
You mean 48g leveled up cuz jpop was always talented
Didn't the producers of the show KNOW that the J-pop stars have a different system where dance, singing and stage presence are taught differently and that the J-pop girls would be at a lower level compared to Kpop trainees and stars? K-pop emphasizes "perfection" in everything while J-pop emphasizes relatability to their fans. The J-pop fans get caught up in the journey of their favorites as they get better, learn, evolve become more popular as J-pop stars. You can tell these young girls felt humiliated and ashamed when for Japanese to "lose face" is the greatest pain. What were the producers thinking? I know many Koreans despise the Japanese because of the past evil actions of Japan toward Korea but these young girls had nothing to do with it. Kkura spoke for the J-pop girls when she said with tears that she wants to show that the J-pop girls are hard-working and talented too. Her courage and hard work led her to be Kkura-unnie, the "mother" of Le Sserafim.
AKB48 doesn't represent the whole Japanese music industry. There are many vocally and choreographically talented acts in Japan other than 48g. There have been lots of Japanese members in K-pop groups, and NiZiu is a J-pop group produced by JYP. What Japanese trainees lack is only proper training. But they have more experience as idols and have better stage presence than Korean girls. As for Korean trainees, they have to compete with the AKB48 idols who already have thousands of fanbases in the first place.
wow this actually made me tear up seeing the girls get emotional.. as a fan of 48 groups especially CHN48 some kpop fans have to realize the idol system is very different from in korea
SNH48GROUP is on a different level, Their sister groups are like the produce classes with SNH48 being A and IDOLS FT. being F😅 Also, Team SH and Team TP are nothing like the SNH48GROUP, Definitely more lower level and charisma focused❤
@@kyokugo6460 the idols ft shade lmaoooo but i have to agree with your comment
Sorry but you can't take 1 jpop group and say that kpop as a whole is better. Akb48 was literally made to just be cute they were never meant to have amazing performances. Maybe take a look at other idols such as e-girls, bananalemon or faky and you will see jpop idols can be amazing in performing. This whole video is so stupid saying there is a cultural difference when we are talking about 1 japanese group en many different korean trainees
E-Girls and most of the groups under AVEX are actually NOT IDOL. E-Girls was Exile's SG and It showed, XG is a similar example of NOT IDOL JPOP Groups❤😊
Looking back i feel disgusted by Mnet. The production knew that japanese idols are something completely different from korean ones. Japanese (akb48 at least) relays on charisma and charms, but they never get dance and vocal training like trainees in korea, so doing this without telling the judges/teachers about it before the calification process is just mean. They won rating destroying the confidence of 48 japanese idols, that's just fucking evil. I'm glad japanese trainees in Korea are good and hoping japanese idols in Produce 101 japan the girls can show that they have what it takes to be a worldwide group <3 ps: FUCK MNET
日本人は素直なんやねみんな可愛い
The thing is that these were Japanese idols VS Korean trainees. Yet the Japanese girls cried 24/7 and acted like kids as soon as they got criticized or failed something. The Korean trainees had way better stamina. I always thought it was so annoying when the Japanese idols just cried all the time in front of the camera. That’s my opinion
They were in a foreign country, barely understood what was happening most of the times and started with a big disadvantage since they had no training, this is a situation that heightens stress and anxiety so it's completely normal that they would cry more than the Korean trainees. Only someone who lack empathy and doesn't understand human emotions would be annoyed by seeing these girls cry. That's my opinion.
You clearly lack the cultural context, If They wouldn't have cried It would've been seen as them being proud or egotistical. In Japan is often expected you apologize even after the most silliest mistakes...😅
Korea likes to make it clean, perfect and neat. While Japan performances rely more on feeling, creativity and are still neat. None of them are wrong, that's just the difference on how both culture see the art. In the end of the day, art is not a science, there's not a wrong art.
Not true though, There are Jiha Idols (A kind of JPOP Idol) in South Korea too but They were media blocked until not to long ago to promote the idea of cultural progress. Don't forget the ministry of culture invest in KPOP, They want to look good overseas.
The delusion some of you people have. There is nothing wrong with being honest. The kpop girls are overall better performers and singers compared to the jpop ones. Maybe it's cultural but that's the the truth. It doesn't mean that the Japanese girls are unworthy or something. It's just a difference. Both have fans who support and cherish them
Sorry but you can't take 1 jpop group and say that kpop as a whole is better. Akb48 was literally made to just be cute they were never meant to have amazing performances. ye just different industries with different standards :)
Koreaboo loser
It's funny how most of the 48 japanese idols here graduated shortly after produce 48, it's almost like they got a wake up call lol
Many of them had been in the group for long already and They had no more place to grow. Management was also pushing for newer members so for some this was their last achievement as JPOP Idols, Including Sakura and Nako who after IZ*One decided to leave the JPOP Idol life to focus on new goals. Also, There were many who weren't a 100% willing on PD48 but rather forced by their Japanese Individual companies signing them in.
6:42 BWAHAHAAHAHHA did she just said that JYP just lost a talented trainee BQWHAHHAHAHAH
is that yiren and siyeon in the first clip? or just yiren?
As a Japanese, I am so embarrassed having AKB in Japanese show biz industry. They can not sing. They can not dance. They are not talented and they look like girls next door. The idols you can meet.. Which concept is .. They are selling make- believe love relationships to the middle aged men who can not get girl friends or who never has girl friends in their lives. So Sorry AKB but I never be happy to see people who are not talented on the stage or TV. But I respect Sakura of le sserafim now.
they went on this show to improve their group. look at their recent dances. there dances are more complicated, syncronized and more effort
@@kaienflop. yes. They are checking the market. But it takes one year to learn just one song because they do not have basic skills. And most of they call it dancing is jumping. If you learn dancing even a little bit, you know they do not have basic skills.
@@MM-th6wv wdym takes one year? you mean single? they have over 1000+ songs that are in some stages
sorry they said it took one year on a TV show.
And If you like them, good on ya. I don’t.
but as the show continues, the Japanese trainees stand out the most
J pop: anyone can be an idol with the power of friendship of happiness! K pop: it’s about grind, it’s about power
I actually only watch the first episode of PD48, And I felt terrible for the Japanese... It was soooo unfair for them... they being judge based on K idols standard when both 9f thr idols clerly have different goals while performing... like one of them said, the K priorities perfect while J priorities in growth
Japanese idols are really good
2:49 i love how they were all scared and sakura was sitting there like bae yoon jung 2.0 loool
sakura was mad at the mentors because they were saying hurtful and harsh comments to her friends and group members.
Well, Sakura didn’t need to worry, lol
Even if she were to lose She had a very important position back in HKT48 so She wouldn't have mossed much TBH. She would have probably graduated tho... Out of disproving heer potential as an Idol, One of her eeasons to join in the 1st place😅
