That is, I have tons of vintage fantasy miniatures on round bases and adaped for the Mortal Realms, and GW now tells me to go play the Old World? Let GW go to hell...! You've forgotten the most important argument: 95% of the models can be used in Warhammer Fantasy/Old World and Age of Sigmar.

Just got my first ever Warhammer set… chaos legionaries for warcry. Had no clue about their faction or anything so gotta learn lol. Thought they looked cool af though

There are unpleasant speculations based on bureaucracy that “old models” have a place in the "old world" only. I myself recently purchased several models of beastmen and do not want to lose them. I've already lost almost a full army of Greenskinz archers.

Can you have a skeleton army without the bone reapers? I love the SBG skeleton models but not the Ossiarch. So can I have a full skeleton army with this faction instead?

2023 has an answer for you, you don't 😂 Hopefully AoS 4.0 changes that.

so hypothetically I could take a giant or ogre in my nighthaunt or soulblight army? I love vampires and zombies so dont want too many skeleton soldiers if i can take more interesting units

I'm just getting into aos and Warhammer as a whole and this army is what grabbed my attention the most and I've been looking for what i should buy not necessary for the fastest army I still want something a little good but I haven't grasped the point system yet.

Aye wb mate and happy bday! Was mine on the 18th. Ahh big contender for my third army. Im not a sci fi guy, the star asthetic definitely aint for me. But since the 2nd book with the addition of coalesced easy draw. Plus with the vanguard being basically a saurus box, its a great time to get into the jungles of Lustria. Was a great faction focus. Also make sure to save some hobby dollar's for FEC mate 😉😉😉

I absolutely love all the new miniatures, but most of my collection is old fantasy adapted for the Mortal Realms. When you place fantasy legacies on round bases, you forever tie it to the Age of Sigmar. Plus possibility for crazy color schemes and conversions impossible in the old world. GW should think more about this.
