If you cut your propagation off in an upsidedown V, then you not only always know which end is 'up' but it also increases the surface area for roots to sprout!! This works for snake plants as well. Happy planting!

Plant doesn’t need fertiliser? I find that unless I feed it every single time I water it goes limp and develops yellowing.

I do all of this and yet I have what was once a gorgeous long, full string of turtles that is mostly all yellow now. I don't know what to do about it. Is it too late? It does have a little new growth but all the older leaves are now mostly yellow. Ugh so bummed.
