@@fishnsw I grew up in Ontario Canada and my favourite species to fish for was the Steelhead( They're like rainbow trout on steroids LOL) but I've moved to New Brunswick and there aren't as many species or steelhead here. I've been catching Smallmouth bass mostly here but I'm going to try and target Muskies and striped bass once the seasons open up again. I've got a youtube channel as well, if you're interested to see what I fish for. how long did you live in Calgary for? Did you get to fish much while you were there?

All good until some big arse trebles end up the side. Advantage would be comfortable ride over rapids. I do like how it packs up at end of drift and then goes on your back. How was walk back to car?
Hahaha fully a 3/0 in the side and she might not float so well 😂. When I hook something solid it will be Kaos. I was thinking about removing the back hooks from the lures I throw to avoid that happening. Do you think one treble is enough hooks in the water? It's perfect for transport, needs refining to fish from it successfully. Hmm the bag was heavy and my shoulders were tired by the end. Next time I'm going to strap it to my regular backpack, take advantage of the waist straps.

Hooks seemed OK apart from dropping a few fish. The real test would be on a big one.

That's a very interesting lure design. Might be good for flounder jigging since it sinks fast. I live by the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia and I fish a lot but I've never seen that style of lure. I use the Eye Strike Texas Eye jigs and Snake Locks with soft plastics but nothing like that one you were using. Cool. Hopefully they'll show up here.
Super footage! A stinger hook can easily be added to the lower split ring along with the weedless hook if you need that extra hook!😁
