Brilliant Film, very warm road movie, exploring country side of Italy and Germany. highly recommended film. brilliant screenplay, perfect direction, the acting is phenomenal!

I dont think so, Mathias is more like free spirited person, dont want to be shackled type. At the scene when they attend someone's wedding, he said "what makes them believe that they can spend their whole life with a single person?" Explained a lot. and when victor ask about Mathias to Mathias's friend he just met at the wedding, he said that they met at some trip, having fun together, naked together just the two of them the same that happen with Victor and Mathias. It seem Mathias already did this "trip with stranger he met" multiple time. He just enjoy-the-moment type of the person, while Victor is more fragile-need-place-to-rest type of person.
