Unfortunately a very long video with very little information. Also disappointing to see Oxford allowing sweeping statements and personal views about politics without a balancing argument. For example, in what way is the “right wing” government detrimental to the sadhu way of life when he admits that Yoginath is himself a sadhu? Also perhaps mention that Yoginath has/is establishing the worlds first university for transgenders in his state to further empower this group. No real knowledge imparted about any practices or the aghori philosophy

Why do Hindus worship many Gods ? Hindus are not apologetic about worshipping many Gods, because they have a better understanding of what God is…. Unlike the Abrahamic religions that believe in one god each exclusively. The Jews, the Christians, Muslims, they don’t believe in the same god, and so they have differences of beliefs which they kill each other over. Now, to explain the many Gods in Hinduism, let’s use the analogy of your smart phone that you are holding in hand right now….your smart phone comes with many apps that’s already built into your phone…each app controls a different function on your phone…without these apps your phone is useless…So likewise, even though there is ONE SUPREME BEING, all the various lesser gods are the multiple expansions of that same Supreme Being of God…so everything in creation…the sun, the moon, the wind, the earth, etc., etc., are manifestations or living deities of that One Supreme God. Now, the reason behind why the Abrahamic religions removed God the Creator from His creation, whether the followers realized it or not, is because there should be no feelings of guilt for their conquering forces to plunder, rape, enslave, convert or kill their captives, etc., etc.

Yes this man knows what Hindu is. There is no such a thing as Hindu Religion. There is no God on Hindu and many Hindus talk of Hindus preying to many God's. They just respect some saints whom they will be their guardian and encourage assist in the individual himself purifies himself to go to another world

  • @indusinternationalresearch8978

The true understanding of this western scholar about the core concepts of Hindu religion and philosophy is astonishing & commendable. His explanations are infact wonder ful and praiseworthy. To accept the existence of any form of God in the image of the limits of human imagination and defining God with attributes that can be understood by human mind , irrespective of how lofty or refined it may be, it will be like trying to capture the rarity, vastness, fluidity of air around us in a rigid porus iron cage . That’s why Hindus believe that any one who is defining and codifying the intentions , direction, commandments and laws of GOD , are actually lying or deluding themselves and others . This is the ultimate understanding of the highest form of the frontiers of scientific knowledge too. The latest discoveries in science in the areas of atomic, molecular , genetics as well as astro physics and cosmology supports and sustain the Hindu way of looking at the existence , cosmic and as well as subatomic forces manifesting itself in varied ways.

I also disagree with his story of Narad muni, Narad muni did not convert to a new religion, in the same faith he evolved to a higher being. Like for example Vishwamitra being a Kshatriya (Intellectual capabilities abilities, varna not caste) became a brahmin in the same birth, do you refer to this as conversion? This cannot be referred to as conversion.

That's why we call it Sanatana Dharma, the Eternal way of life Beginning of the talk is very impressive but the ending...this man is emphasising on one thing in the end why convert back to Hinduism The answer is simple Christian conversions have become a threat to our Nation, they are turning Indian people against their own country by brainwashing their minds. So YES Arya Samaj and other Hindu organizations are doing the right thing, trying to protect our Nation. Fellow Hindus, please read scriptures and seek guidance of a qualified Hindu Guru 🙏

I wonder if karma is real when all hindu scriptures speak about freeing or removing sins or karma in about 50 different ways. Immersing yourself in gang mata is most quoted method. Is detachment the key to liberation or freedom from karma. I think that noble intention is the only thing that reaches the so called god whereas every material desire reached the demi god.

The older I get, the more I understand about myself. "Spirituality" has always been a big concern for me, and it never becomes a box that I can just check off the list, to move onto more important things... There are no more "important things" The only things we could possibly take with us, when we go, is our Beliefs, and they change with every breath we take. I hate the idea of reincarnation. Life is hard, but it must be necessary, or we wouldn't have to do it. I would have never have guessed that I would turn out to be Hindu!!!
