KNOCKDOWN IS THE TEXTURE YOU SEE IN MOST NEW HOMES TODAY. THIS TEXTURE REPLACED THE POPCORN TEXTURE OF THE PAST. POPCORN WAS A MESSY APPLICATION THAT WAS SPRAYED ON AND AND A SPECIAL SPRAY GUN WAS NEEDED TO DO IT. IN ADDITION POPCORN IS TROUBLE TO PAINT. I TOOK A CHANCE AND PAINTED MY POPCORN CEILING, BUT ' BEWARE', IF POPCORN GETS TOO WET IT JUST FALLS OFF THE CEILING . I PAINTED IT BY LOADING...

No. The ONLY reason to put baking soda in the fridge is precisely to absorb all those other smells. Baking soda for cooking goes in the cupboard. Fridge baking soda is NOT for cooking.

@@RayD654 Try what I do. When I open a box of baking soda that I intend to use only for baking, I will empty the contents of the box into a wide mouth glass pint size canning jar. So easy to open and measure out how much I need, the n put the lid back on and put it in the cupboard. Baking soda in the fridge .... I by the kind that you peel the side off the box to revel a white panel that air and odors can pass thru to keep your fridge smelling fresh.
