    I purchased the Knox Urbane Pro Mk3 in July 2023. I’m a weekend warrior and I’ve put less than 40 hours of use on my jacket when the cuffs began to fray. I wrote the company directly as well as sending photos, to which they responded , that the frayed cuffs were a result of repeated abrasion from gloves, or likely wear from the Velcro closure on gloves. They said that they would not replace the jacket or refund my money. I was disappointed to say the least, particularly when “abrasion resistance“ is the company’s advertisement lead. Clearly, the material used at the cuffs is flimsy at best, and inconsistent with the durability of the rest of the jacket. I pride myself on taking meticulous care of my equipment, and for the company to suggest that the use of gloves on a motorcycle jacket caused this premature wear and damage is ridiculous and outrageous. These companies have a captive audience as well as regulatory capture to inflate their prices, and to advertise an abrasion resistant armored shirt that is now literally falling apart at the seams after less than 40 hours of use is shameful.

    • @sneakypurpleninja
      @sneakypurpleninja Před 2 měsíci

      I reading your comment I checked my jacket and I don't have that problem, maybe because I don't use the thumb loops and I don't use the same gloves (I alternate through Dianese, Knox and Alpinestars) Either way it's not good customer support. It does alter my perspective of the company.

    The palms are so thin. Same on some Alpinestars I tried. Why ? It doesn’t add anything to make it cooler. If you take a tumble, that’s where the impact will be, and on your scaphoid (wrist bone). You might as well buy some mesh gardening gloves.

      Hi Douglas I also found them lacking in protection, I ended up with the Dainese Mig 3 as Summer gloves, these have suede palms with padding

      @@sneakypurpleninja Thanks for the feedback, sold the Air maze, Richa turbo for me, but your migs look great. Oh, and I’d recommend my Triumph Braddon mesh jacket, d30 armour, for when it’s hot.

    Hello. Nice video...and bike 👍. With the time and milleage does the bag still ok? A lot of comment on the other versions are the straps that keep on coming loose. Does that still ok? Thanks.

      The bag is still good, I've not had any issues with the straps. Works perfectly for me. Thanks

    What size jacket did you purchase? In my opinion, theres too many logos. 6 on 1 jacket is overkill. I purchased the dainese air fast. Bit lighter overall.

      Odd but I cannot find a size label in it, but I do remember I had to get a couple of sizes larger than the size chart indicated, I'm good with the logos

    i call this bike without a damper "the widowmaker" cause a 200mph naked bike without a damper is so sketchy i dunno why kawasaki thought that was ok

      Definitely a bad decision (cost cutting) on Kawasaki's part. Glad I fitted one myself

      Fitting one was pretty simple czcams.com/video/-Nsx3sBeEN0/video.html but your right, it shouldn't be necessary

      You don't really have to drive 200mph on a naked bike.
