I found the feature today because I needed that for text files management, unfortunately the folders are all expanded and need to be folded manually. I guess a partial workaround for my situation is to keep all singles files in a common folder, to make it more manageable...
There are icons in the top right of the panel for expanding and contracting all folders. There's also an icon that looks like a gun sight for highlighting the currently open file.
@@cybersphere hum, I didn't have any at the time, I'll update from v. 7.7.1 to 7.9 and see, just hoping it will not ruin my current settings :)
@@cybersphere yep just updated to the latest version and I finally have those buttons, I wish NP++ would simply remember the state of open and closed folders or start with all folders closed, but oh well, I guess no one would ever be happy with either scenario. thanks for the detail
Hi, How can I create a new file using the Wordspace from Notepad++ so the file is sync in the real folder? I right-click but can't manipulate the folder from the Workspace. I'd like to create a new file without having to go to the directory. Just doing from the Workspace. Can you help me? Thanks.
