Two questions if you don't mind. 1) At 6:37 after you turned onto Grandview Highway, I am not able to find any speed limit sign anywhere on google map, is it safe to assume we will keep driving at 50km/h? 2) At 9:54 there is the "School zone" sign on the right, does that mean we have to reduce the speed to 30km/h? passed my class 5 test in Burnaby this week, first attempt! thank you so much, your videos saved me!! just going through a possible test route like this was super useful and helped me get in the right mindset and not be super nervous on the day.

Any tips on how to do this if you have obstacles in front of the parking space (cars way closer than this example, a wall, ...) Barely a car door distance between you and the free space you have to maneuver

Your videos are very helpful I received my driver’s license after 6 months of trying but I wasn’t taught changing lanes because it wasn’t going to be on the road test also I had a new driving instructor‼️So after getting license i can’t drive because I can’t change lanes what should I do❓

I failed my exam few weeks ago because when i turned right, the road was too wide and i thought it was 2 lane so im kinda leaned on the right side of the road and someone overtake me then the instructor told me it was a DA.. it was a few meters away from icbc. We were almost finished. I dunno.. it seemed to me the road test was always subjective to the examiner. Of course you have to do it right but i was always subjective to the view of the examiner..

just to correct few things here who is watching ! 11:44 - 15:53 it is still rolling stop.18:20 straight backing position is missing,(19:20 is the correct one). You can most definitely fail road test for rolling stop because its violation and ticketable.

Every canadian and american city has that rule

why would dash cams have to be turned off? I had a few questionable calls during my drive and the cam would have allowed me to see what the deal was. I feel that the examiner has the advantage over you and this way they cover their ass for a mistake of their own for example.

If there is a yield sign at the intersection having traffic lights should we just scan (assuming green light in front) left and right or shoulder check as well while turning right?

Thank you for the tip about the double yellows!! I never noticed and sometimes it’s tricky finding those opposite signs! I got a fail because missed a park zone that started in a school zone because I was trying to find the backward signs so bad aha so this might help for my retest

I merge on highway today but I drive faster than the guy on the right of way but I see him very close to my car I accelerate in panic not a good experience. I hope I drive confident and calm next time checking safe gap and do shoulder check, great tutorial, thank you.

Thanks for the video.Often , at right turns on red light , there is a car that is going straight ( on my left) and has pulled up far enough , obstructing my sight line . Therefore, I am under the notion that it is not safe to creep forward cause maybe there are pedestrians crossing the street. What would be the wise thing to do in that case?? Thank you in advance.

Hi! Thank you so much for answering all of my questions via comments. I was wondering if swerving around parked cards in streets is considered a lane change in different scenarios 1)residential streets with no lanes, 2)with one yellow line and you are crossing it partially, 3) with one yellow line and you have to completely go into the incoming traffic lane. I always shoulder check but I wonder if I have to signal left and right when swerving around. Thank you!

I’m a fairly new driver. Today I had started to make a right turn on a green from Stewardson Way to 12th street in New Westminster. A car opposite me started to turn on the green and nearly cut me off. Then the two cars behind him did the same thing. So I waited until they all finished their turns. There was no advanced green on their side. I thought they should have waited until I completed my turn. What should have happened in this scenario. I’ve driven this route many times and had no issues before. Drivers would wait until I completed the turn.

I don’t like the idea of someone giving me directions as we drive. I rather have a location given to me so i can plan my route accordingly. Thats how i would drive in a non test situation. I almost find this method of testing a bit dangerous

I passed my test yesterday with 100% score at Lougheed all thanks to your videos they helped a lot, I actually didn’t even drive in Lougheed before I took my test. I can say Lougheed has the best examiners
