This has always been one of my favorite Rock songs of all time, not just of FM's. As a guitarist and drummer, as well as a softy for love-sick rhymes; for me, it's the perfect blend of straight-ahead Rock and sentimental poetry. I would've LOVED hearing a more pronounced & lengthy solo by LB!

Any lip synching going on here? Despite his fantastic voice, Henley has been caught red handed lately. This piece is not that challenging for a mature voice, but I can see hints of lip synching. Hard to say as there are backup singers on this performance. I would rather hear these two fantastic voices as they are, aged to perfection.

Everyone talks about the awesome love between the two of them, Lindsay looks like an obsessed stalker in these videos while Stevie looks like it’s all for show. Don’t beat me up, it’s just what I see.

Unfortunately, any re-issue or “expanded” version of ‘73’s Buckingham Nicks album is a point of contention for both Lindsey & Stevie. Stevie is in possession of the original master recordings. They’ve been talking about releasing a re-issue for decades but in typical fashion they can’t agree on the logistics. Lindsey wants a full production, which means new music added by the pair, along with a supporting tour. Stevie…not so much. That was the vibe pre-2018 before the big fallout between them. I actually talked to Lindsey back in Oct/2022 and posed the question. I asked him because the 50th anniversary was approaching. His response? He said it wasn’t out of the realm of possibility but it would be up to Stevie. He didn’t expound any further. Obviously, the 50th Anniversary has come and went (Sept. 2023) with only a mention of the album’s “50th Anniversary” being mentioned by both (Lindsey & Stevie) on their separate X (formerly Twitter) accounts.
