It's interesting how many people consider vegan as what "God" wanted us to be.. But recently- as my own intake of iron was so low (and all i eat are green leaf vegetables, lentils and beans) - I noticed a huge shift in my health since NOT eating beef, I can't eat fish and I don't eat fish. To me eating fish is like how many vegans or vegetarians feel about eating beef. .but omega is super important so I do try to eat some salmon when I can. BUT recently in my journey I discovered that many vegetables, legumes, and other such foods contain non-heme iron, which is a form of iron, Then there is the iron from animal that is called heme iron. The body contrary to what people believe actually absorbs heme iron more easily, than non-heme iron. Even though it is noted that heme iron is not essential to the human diet. I beg to differ that last part though, as a woman. And yes, you guessed it sounds like Hemoglobin right? YES!! Heme combines with Globin proteins to form hemoglobin, which carries oxygen in red blood cells from the lungs to the rest of the body. So when people say God didn't put us on the earth to eat animals. He did yes, provide animals to allow humans to maintain iron and continue living healthy. Obviously in moderation.. it's technically supposed to be somewhat of a symbiotic relationship. I have never agreed with labels, like vegan or vegetarian. I often said I eat earth-based food. :) Also because I live in an area where overfishing is a thing and many marine animals suffer so how is that better than me eating a burger? Although I have found the more I elevate in spirituality, the less my body craves meat or fish but then I'm not craving much of anything lately but fruit. Point is, you have a miraculous machine. You don't need to prove anything to anyone to be anything. Listen to your body, it knows what it needs at all time. By denying any aspect of it, anything, it means one is not in harmony with it at all. I don't believe in labels. I believe in the power of self to navigate what it needs to be a strong, healthy and spiritual human being. :) Also during various times in our life, we will require different things. Wait until you're 45-50 and your body goes through one of THE MOST DRASTIC changes it will ever have. And that is the ceasing of being a creator of life. Heavy, intense and not without many challenges. But the wise woman phase, once over that entire 10 year stretch of adjusting from creator of life to non-creator of life, is not without it's rewards. The biggest reward when you are beyond that and can look back in awe at the incredible being you were prior to that moment and the incredible being you are now after it. :)

I haven't found "home" yet and I'm 42. I think for some people, it's a dynamic thing and that's OK. Traveled a lot and as I age what I want changes (safety now matters more than climate and I actually don't mind snow anymore). Your sound quality is so much better outdoors by the way. Indoors there is a slight echo. Blessings.
