    What's the average LTV on these homes approximately? Or are they mostly cash?

      Great question! In the luxury market we are seeing approximately 40% to 50% cash purchases with the balance being financed. With a large military and retired military population many are low down or zero down jumbo VA loans. However, conventional loan purchases we are seeing around 25% to 30% down.

    Colorado springs is not a desirable area for luxury home buyers

      "Desirable Area" is such a subjective term. In the last 365 days 411 people purchased luxury homes in Colorado Springs MLS area, not including the dozens of custom built home that sold well over $1.5 million. 50 homes sold over $2 million and one sold for $4.5 million. Could all of these buyers be wrong?

      Janet, thanks for watching the video and for your comment. Overall when we compare all of the schools in Colorado Springs they are all pretty good when compared to other states and cities as a whole. There are certainly schools that are not doing well in Colorado Springs and certain school districts stand out far from the others. My comment was intended as a more broad comment for schools in Colorado Springs in general. I think it's great that in Colorado Springs we have a lot of school options with Charter Schools and the ability to opt your child into the school district of your choice. What schools or school districts do you like in Colorado Springs?
