Always loved this tune. I first heard Bob Dylan’s interpretation of Eric Von Schmidt’s interpretation. Once I started studying Rev. Gary Davis’ guitar styling I put together the pieces. Could tell it was a Rev. tune. This rendition is pulling from Blind Boy Fuller vol. 2 recordings. Figured I’d try my hand at it.

I would call this plagiarism. The verse is a copy of «Dry Land Blues», and the rest is from «Don´t you leave her.» But I guess all these old bluesers used to copy eachother and put their own lyrics to it. Great picking and singing though! ❤
