LOL!!!! The WRONG way and the RIGHT way to say the word " aluminum ". 😂
Bending that piece of alluminium with that adjustable wrench is not the right way to bend it - you're not applying equal pressure across the surface being bent. I'd bet the side you bent from is now lower than the side you didn't and it's all now slightly twisted. You could also do with a curved radius to bend the metal over so that the bend comes out uniformly.

Diesel has a much higher flashpoint than gasoline. It is a much safer option for starting a fire between the two.

This is a great video!! I found an aluminium bar that i was going to use as sliced dowel pins, but now i need to figure out how to bend it to a 8.84 in radius. I don't have a blowtorch... Could i use a hest gun to soften the bar at it's bend point?

Good job, I would bend on a radiused pc of oak, also have the crescent wrench in your hand opposite of the torch and bend it while the flame is applied, the force you apply, it will bend when ready, though your char test tells you when to get the crescent in your hand, keep the flame on the metal as you bend on a wood radius. When your remove the flame your temp drops rapidly and you tear the steel instead of mall it over the aluminum molecules stay intact and stretch when heat is applied till the end of the "stretch bend".
