Inefficient. I bought a portable air conditioner for 220 euros, and it works like a charm. It cools amazingly. It's currently 30 degrees Celsius outside, and I have 25 degrees in my room.

Lamentablemente se comete el tipico error de instalar las celdas peltier en paralelo, generando un consumo muy alto de la potencia ( amperios) si cada celda consume 4 amperes x 8 = 32 amperios.. en cambio si las conectas en serie tendría solamente 4 amperes y con un pequeño inversor 12 volt a 110 alimentarias a 9 celdas y te sobra amperaje para otros equipos.

NOBODY build this. It won't work. Peltier coolers are massively inefficient . They require a LOT of power. This is why you only see them in CPU coolers or micro fridges.

Total bullshit, you will need exactly 53 4x4 Peltier units for 9000BTU of cooling power !!!
