Forza GT - This division has multiple series of cars:
GT cars with traction control and ABS, such as GT3 etc, are demonstrated at Kyalami.
GTE and GTLM cars have traction control only and are demonstrated at Spa.
The Trans Am cars have traction control only but are demonstrated at Road America.
The Australian V8 Supercars have no driver aids and are demonstrated at Watkins Glen.

I still play using my old Logitech G27 which is likely older than some people that play this game =)
I slightly adjusted my force feedback settings based on a video by CZcamsr ermz. I recommend you do the same.
Car settings are matching the real car as closely as possible so I use manual with clutch for cars with an H-pattern and paddle shifters for everything else. Cars with ABS have that enabled. Traction control is only used on cars that have it and are super fast or hard to control. I prefer it disabled otherwise.
Everything else, like stability management is always disabled.
Below are my sound settings:
-voice-over 50 (effects career tour intros and pit girl)
-tire 60 (effects anything related to tires including curb sounds and screeching plus offroad encounters)
-opponent car 90
-impacts 70
-environments 55 (crowds, helicopters, wind noise at high speeds)
-HUD 0 (every...single...car level...so annoying, just disable for nice, quiet leveling up)

-As of patch 5.0 with latest NVidia drivers, they fixed the bug regarding micro stuttering with V-sync on so I run locked at 60fps
-Ultra quality DLSS (DLAA)

-all ray tracing at max settings. The stuttering bugs are almost entirely fixed, only rarely does it hitch up
-shadows ULTRA
-cubemap reflections ULTRA

Tut mir leid, aber dieses Auto war eine vergangene Karriere-Belohnung. Derzeit kann dieses Auto nicht mehr erworben werden. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es in Zukunft wieder verfügbar sein wird, aber ich bezweifle, dass die Entwickler es für immer weglassen würden, also kann ich mir vorstellen, dass es eines Tages wieder zurückkommt. Ich habe hierfür einen Übersetzer verwendet, also entschuldige ich mich, wenn das komisch klingt.

In case anyone misses the top of the description of this video, this car can be obtained for FREE for a limited time. If you use Steam, just pull up the DLC and add to your account between now and the 19th. Not sure how you would do it on consoles but get it while you can since it isn't included in any of the game versions, to include the Premium one.
You would think that for the price of the car Porsche could afford more than one oddly placed obtrusive windshield wiper.

Great video! Very nice classic car. Question: What is the bugs in face/ drive time ratio of people over 4'6" who would presumably have their whole head above the "windshield"

How to get it?
Hi there, this car was only available as a career reward for a featured tour that has since passed by. Sadly, that means the car is not currently available. I do not know if the developers have made it known whether or not featured tours that have passed will ever come back. Sorry 😔 (My guess is one day they'll come back otherwise that would mean cars like this would be locked away forever)

I will indeed. My buddy, the one I call McLovin, said why didn't you incorporate the 370Z into the video? I said because that was just the donor car for the engine only...but it got me thinking, I could "rebuild" the flooded 370Z and put a crate motor into it for a future video! But there are others in the works too.
I reached 293MPH with this car.

Hey! Just thought I'd revisit this video and let you know that I was struggling to decide on whether or not to buy the game, because of all the polarized opinions about it. I was looking for no-nonsense videos just showing what things actually look, feel, and sound like in-game and I had stumbled across this video. I adore the 288 GTO, and this video sold me on buying it (along with asking a couple questions on Reddit about gameplay dynamics). I have been playing it a lot since and absolutely love it, so thanks!!
I'm very happy to hear it! The game may not be perfect, but it is so much fun for me. I'm all about the fantasy, buying a production car and throwing on a few parts... Reminds me of when I was a kid buying cheap eBay parts for my first vehicle ;) I'm very much looking forward to the March update that we should get in another week or two, supposedly they'll be improving the AI which is much needed.
@@UncleDavesGarage Ironically I've found that 99% of the widespread complaints online don't affect me because: I don't stare blankly at tree pixels, I don't measure the exact dimensions of a car with a ruler, and I'm not interested in multiplayer. So like you I just grab a car and go (I'm like keeping a car bone stock if I'm being totally honest! but I might try throwing on different tires and brakes now that you've mentioned it) but I really enjoy the game and I'm glad there's pleasant videos like yours showing what the game is capable of, instead of all the screeching stereotypical "OMG HEY GUYYSSS" youtubers mindlessly whining about everything. You do good work here and it's appreciated! But yeah an AI update would be nice!

This car's audio was updated in a recent patch and I also noticed the default cockpit view position is now much further back, allowing for more of the dash to be seen (and more importantly, the gauges). This car may look amazing but it was way underpowered and had that atrocious 4 speed automatic transmission further slowing it down. I forgot to remove the term '40-roll' from the external view exhaust tests. I couldn't see the speedo and just went full throttle after I got rolling, sorry for the mistake!
The quality of this car model makes me glad I didn't spend $70 on this game. This model is clearly from Motorsport 3 but somehow worse than what Horizon 3, 4 and Motorsport 7 has.

Lol I agree entirely. Funny enough, when I first got the idea to do this it was with Forza Motorsport 7 and I thought about narrating/reviewing each car as I turn the lap.
