dislike because of the audio

I'm glad this helped some of you, but it certainly didn't resolve my issue. All I want is two stinking videos from my iPhone to my PC to Davinci..but nooo...smh. I remember editing videos back in 2012 and it was just soo simple to just plug your phone up to your PC and transfer whatever media files you want. Now, it's like trying to reprogram the entire Media functionality of the PC itself.

I assigned the same shortcut as you but it performs a little jankily. I either have to double tap S after pressing control or hold S down. It's weird such a useful command isn't built in or there isn't a button for it! Didn't DaVinci think someone might want to review their video from the beginning?

Is there any shortcuts to add speed points in davinci resolve?

Step 1: Check the type or the extension of your video; if it is not mov, change it to mov through any online converter. The error will be resolved.

This works great on a Mac, but on Windows, you still have to manually uninstall the previous version! GRRR! I wish they'd fix this.

Thank you so much! Other tutorials showed a different way which didn't work for me. I had to use the disk search feature, which after about 5-6 minutes, found the file.

u know a software is unnecessary complicated when u can't even figure out how to find and write in the text window without googling and video tutorials. And this is my 3rd video editing software

i have this issue inside one clip itself...i shot a clip and on its own it plays well..no drop frame ie that RED waring...but inside DR18 on the timeline when i play - its flickers and shows the RED warning...never had this happened before...

This is why I still use FCPX for my real estate work..In resolve you need to do like 20-30 clicks for speed ramp, in FCPX its like 5.

I just started using DaVinci and had this problem right out the gate. I didn't move my files or do anything with them. When I try to relink them it still has the same result. I also noticed when I try to relink and I pull up the folder, it says "No items match your source" is there a particular kind of format I need to edit with Davinci?

I know EXACTLY where the files are yet DR18.5 REFUSES to relink. They haven't been renamed. They haven't been moved. DR18.5 is a fresh install. The files were downloaded (with full consent obv'). Project is new, so nothing on timeline, media in known folder not optimised. Media is all file-types DR understands (file host uses them for all edits). I'm at a loss. WTF is going on?

I always end up finding my output file so heavy after mixing video and Audio and Text, that its transportation, say, to my friends either thro' email or WA becomes quite a challende. Does DaVinci Resolve 18 has the file compression features. Kindly prepare avideo for that Rob!! Best Regards
