      Hi Jack! would you happen to have one that you are willing to sell? I've been looking for this particular model, but they have been sold out for a while now. I dont even need it to be in working conditions. I work with movie props and need this exact model.

      Sorry Juan. I don’t have any to spare. I bought 96 of them some time back and sold them to my fellow aircraft mechanics at work. I made a whopping 25¢ off of each one just to make making change easier. I did not know they were no longer available. I have continued to buy other Feit products since then though.

    Next time leave the stump waist high and pull higher up. The extra height does wonders for leverage to pull it out of the ground.

      Great tip! I had learned that since this video. Used that technique (keeping longer trunk) in conjunction with a come-a-long to successfully pull out a non producing peach tree.

    Too much wood lifting and handling. Stand all the logs up in a big circle. Wrap the whole circle in a ratchet strap or 2 and cinch up tight. Swing away until they are all split.

    To fix the battery wobble, I simply use a piece of printer paper, rolled and cut evenly to the length/depth of the tube. You might need to overlap the sheet to get proper fit, allowing batt to slide slowly when inserting/removing.

    • @snowvalley11
      @snowvalley11 Před 5 lety

      I like that. That would be another good way to fix the wobble and stop the light from flickering. Thanks for the idea

    easier fix.....take it back to Costco

  • @Fun2watchthem
    @Fun2watchthem Před 7 lety

    Nice fix idea but maybe an Easier and better way to fix is to gently stretch the spring on both ends... Be careful not to pull from circuit on LED end (This way does require disassembly which isn't to bad if your mechanically inclined.). It is soldered to board and if pulled to hard will come off. It isn't easy to get back on unless you have a pretty good soldering station setup.. Plus you risk heating up other components on circuit board or cause cold solder joints. Also be careful to not let batteries slam down onto LED end of spring when you refill batteries either. Gently let them slide into the flashlight by tilting it until they slowly land in place. I also bought 5000mA "C" cell rechargeable batteries thinking it would save buying batteries every 10 hours of use. Bad Idea fried one of my lights in just a second of use. Don't recall any warning not to use in instructions. Maybe I missed it. Should be engraved on end where you put batteries in. So you don't destroy a nice LED light. The duracell flashlights before these from Costco did the same thing not compatible with rechargeable batteries fried one of those too didn't say a thing about Rechargeables in instructions. Suspect it's a DURACELL thing so they can make sure they sell billions and billions of batteries that will make them Billions of $$$ and end up in our landfills. SAD....

    • @snowvalley11
      @snowvalley11 Před 7 lety

      Fun2watchthem sounds good. You can go ahead and stretch the spring risk breaking, take it apart, put it back together and solder it risking damage to the light. I will use my tape method which actually , legitimately works really easy and really great . this method may seem like it wouldn't work but it actually does . thanks for changing your original comment

    I just bought this POS. It gets stuck every time I push something through. It is unlocked to allow the substrate through but I still have to push it with the stick to move it away from the guard. That makes it pretty unsafe. Its going back.

      Your fence isn't lined up straight. There is some play there because this is a low budget saw. You need to take a measurement at both ends of the fence to make sure it is straight.
