they claim these will run on a 40 hp tractor. Will the hilly ground i have i dont see that as a possibility. Your thought?
I don’t see a 40 hp tractor pulling it. The weight of it alone when it is about full would scare me on hilly ground as well. Personally to be comfortable you need a 75hp or larger.

I ran a manure spreader over 20 years just dropping the pin and gravity never failed me.

Balers are heavy, but I would get another linch pin for the bottom.
The pin in the top belongs in the bottom. You don't need 2.
I don't know how many hitch pins we lost on the farm cause we lost the lock pin.
