Hey Dr David, can you please tell me how long will the botox induced eyelid drooping take to recover to normal? Please, how many days or weeks?
depends on which neurotoxin was injected, but usually takes 3 months to wear off. daxxify takes longer to wear off.
This has happened to me. Nurse aesthetic gave 2 injections of Botox 2 weeks apart the second time was a review but they injected more and that's when the ptosis started. Did this client get better eye lid opening fully after 3-4 months?

I actually got really bad headaches after Botox because my eyes couldn't focus correctly afterwards
How long did it take to go away for headaches?
@@taliatut about a month
In most cases, headaches after Botox are mild and self-limiting, resolving within a day or two. If headaches persist or are severe, it could be due to other underlying factors, and patients may need to consult with their provider.

What filler was used in this case? Would you recommend using the patient’s own fat from abdomen to fill?
I do inject fat for the upper sulcus but this is something that needs a lot of experience.
The celebrities are the only ones I see over filled. All that $$ how do you let a doctor do that to their face. Less is better! You can always go back to the doctor.
They never want to tell you how much!!
1-2 syringes of the right filler usually gives a nice improvement
Hello Doctor, does this patient eye moves left to right, up down like his normal eye? I’m using a prosthesis, but I’m not happy how it looks, my eye still there but it just looks ugly and it’s small, when wearing the prosthesis besides that it doesn’t move quite right, my eye look a bit like this patient first photo, what can be done?
Thanks for your question. Motility is dependent on several factors. The status of an orbital implant and the prosthesis itself are 2 examples of factors that contribute to motility. Furthermore, addressing these factors to improve motility can actually also improve the appearance of the eye. So your treatment plan really depends on your exam, your issues, and your goals.
Does Upneeq effect eye health longterm?
There are warnings and precautions associated with Upneeq and certain eye and systemic health conditions. And yes, there are also many long term side effects that could occur. Please discuss with your doctor.
How much did you inject?
1-2 syringes of the right filler usually gives a nice improvement
Love this!
Thank you!
Damn! Doctors and surgeons are absolutely ridiculously amazing!
Yes it’s not moving lol
Motility was not his concern and I did not do anything to improve his motility.

What are the complications of early stent removal within 1 week of surgery? Is there a significant success rate difference?
My guess is that your tear duct won’t properly work and it will be clogged again
Depends on what kind of surgery was done. For endoscopic DCR, early removal could increase the likelihood of the newly created tear drainage pathway closing up before it heals properly.
@@BubblegumLillith possible
Could you also develop a constricted pupil from Botox?
There have been case reports of pupillary dilation or tonic pupil, but these are infrequent/rare. More importantly, you'd want to rule out other issues like a Horner's syndrome if you see a constricted pupil.
Wow, what a change….. SMFH
Thank you
Botox?

Can this happen if u do botox for frown lines?
Yes it can. The botox can drift down and affect one or both of the muscles that lift the eyelid. Choose your injector carefully!

IS this from injecting too low on the frontalis? or to lateral on the corrugator?
I don't know why this happened in this patient as I was not the injector, but generally 2 of the many reasons it can happen is if inject too lateral on corrugator and too close to the brow.

Dr. please respond if you can, I have been wanting the lip lift procedure for so long but from what I’ve researched, you need a surgeon you can trust, and my gut is aiming towards you. I want to get it done very soon but would like to know if I can pay you most of the price then eventually pay you the full price within like 2 months after the procedure depending on my income. Also if I can still get it done at 18, I am a very good candidate. You do amazing work 🙏
Hi Lily Rose, thank you so much for your kind comments. We do have payment plan options for patients and they can be spread out over much more than just 2 months. Your exam will be important. Please schedule a consultation by calling my office. I look forward to meeting you.
Hello dr, I was wondering if it’s possible to get this done by you at the age of 17 turning 18 in a few weeks
My question is similar to this
Cannot wait to get this done ❤️
I rlly want to get this done by you bc I am a bit insecure ab my lips, I also believe I’m an eligible candidate. My upper lip is barely visible, and my philtrum appears longer than what I want it to be. I am 16 though and I’ve done a lot of research and I’m fully aware of the complications, but I’m still not sure if I would be able to qualify
Is there anything you can do to undo drooping eyelid because of Botox? (Botox to counter the drooping effect) to lift the eye lid back to mormal? Botox in the eyelash line?
Hi Jovelyn, Upneeq is an eyedrop by prescription only that can be used to lift the lid while waiting for the botox to wear off.
@@drdavidisaacs I did use upneeq but like you said it did lift a little bit but not significant. It still feel heavy and still have the urge to left my eyebrows to open my eye 😞. I read one article about this vloger who had experience eye drooping after Botox and she consulted with a dermatologist and the nurse practitioner performed 2 units of Botox in her eyelash line, and that’s the reason I asked for people who wants a fast relief from Botox botched eye drooping.
@@jovelynmartin8820 I do a lot of those kinds of injections for patients with blepharospasm, and yes it does lift the eyelid up, but it also weakens the ability of your eye to close. So there's a bit of an issue and risk there because you can then end up with an eyelid that doesn't fully open or close. You (and all patients) really need an in-person exam.
@@drdavidisaacs Doctor David, thank you for taking the time to explain and provide these risk and issue information, I really appreciate it. In that case I guess I just have to wait. Thank you again.

Oh no.. Did it get better? I had the same happening to me, but on my right eye. Have you tried any eyedrops?
I tried it too. My eyebrows dropped so much that they went under the brow bone and cause saggy eyelids and sad/tired eyes. It lasted for 5 freakin months. It was during summer. I didn't go out. I went to work and home. I felt so ugly 😭 and got depressed. I don't know what these idiots are doing that it happens like this?
@@bibinek9950it’s not the injectors fault. It happens to older clients and i’m going to assume u are over 50? It has to do with older clients anatomy as older people tend to raise their brows at rest to compensate for the heavy hooded eyelids. when the forehead is injected, it relaxes and ur brows go back to where they were. It’s actually just ur brows were put back to their anatomical place and ur not used to it and u have hooded lids to begin with. am I right? 🤔
