This is a channel where I do voice acting (mostly impressions of video game characters), as well as showcase voice effects made in Audacity and Voicemod Pro. Occasionally there will be musical content, which I'm hoping to do more of in the future. Let me know a voice you'd like me to do, or a voice effect you'd like me to create, and I'll see what I can do. You had the Alliance, now here comes the Horde. The Blackrock banner in the thumbnail and intro is an image from the Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness manual that I coloured myself. I've reused foley from a bunch of my Disciples 2 videos (check them out here czcams.com/play/PLqLnMfWIfI1BiBvsiYtAwFJvd07576xL0.html ). I use a plugin for the Bit Crusher effect (here forum.audacityteam.org/t/bit-crusher-effect/62001 ). I included the shareware lines for the Peon/Grunt this time, something I didn't do for the Footman last time.

the bests in my opinion: grunt/peon, troll, ogre, ogre-mage, death knight (sort of), Teron is very good! Good job in there!, temple of the damned SFX. Grom is a hard voice to be done. It needs some special pitchy & scratchy throat to do it, lol. Thanks for sharing!
@@dannyldd Thanks. I did a lot of work on the Temple of the Damned voice effect to get it right. Grom is easy for me to get close, but really hard to get just right 😅

I would love to hear some impressions of the units and announcers from Tiberium Wars/Kane's Wrath in the future if you are up for it. I am especially curious about the Scrin, since they have even fewer speaking units than the Zerg and a lot of interesting alien noises.

In 2:06 there's some missing & UNUSED Warcraft 2 Paladin Quote: "Chaaarge!". This specific file you can even find it yourself on CZcams. It was not used in game for some reason, being told by someone who already dig in plenty of the original war2 files.

crazy clown voice works better configs: Background Effects - 0 Deep Dream - 0 Pitch - 30 Clown - 100 Ghosts - 0 Craziness - 9 Nightmare - 0 Mix - 100 Voice Volume - (varies)
Oh my god that's so good! I just did a quick little recording with it and it sounds almost perfect. I had some big bass moments that sounded like a bass drum kick, but that may be due to Voice Volume or just a sub-optimal recording environment (I did it at my computer instead of in my booth)

@@atesin_dj I was considering including this and the Footman's Shareware quotes in this video but I decided not to. I can do a separate short video for these, then when the Horde video rolls around I can just include the Grunt's Shareware quotes. Or I could just put all the Soundcard/Shareware quotes with the critter noises for a Neutral+Special video

These are not just "quotes" they are the 'party leader' quotes when you select party. Same with other quotes uploaded. And NO ONE posts in-game ripped quotes of mage casters
Unfortunately the other in-game quotes (i.e. the combat ones) are harder to isolate because they aren't labelled nearly as sensibly as the overworld (or "Midgard") quotes by the extraction software. It's a lot harder to tell who's who, especially when you aren't intimately familiar with the game (like me).
If only someone could provide in-game quotes of mage units
I could probably get the quotes, but I'm not sure I could correctly assign them to their respective units because the extraction software doesn't label them sensibly

Disciples is much more like Heroes of Might and Magic than Warcraft, and Disciples 2 came out the same year as Warcraft 3 (2002)

I stumbled upon these and they're pretty damn good! I do have a gripe though with the mislabeling of units in the white text. It seems to happen a lot.
Thanks! I understand the confusion, but the white text isn't a label for the units, it's to indicate the effects used, and effects that are too complex to be explained in a small amount of text are named after the first unit that uses them and elaborated on at the end. The units are "labelled" by the timestamps in the description I explained this system in a previous video (can't remember which one). Guess I didn't feel like explaining it in every video 😅
