The Carter AccuRight® Circle Cutting Jig is a bandsaw upgrade tool that allows you to cut perfect circles every time. It attaches to almost any saw, even the newer saws with limited clearance between the saw frame and table, like the current Laguna and Powermatic saws. The Carter AccuRight® Circle Cutting Jig allows you to cut any diameter circle up to four feet, when used with proper external support. With the addition of the adjustable side support assembly, the new Circle Cutter now gives your material even more support when cutting. so i guess i should read the instructions! i checked the face of the fence for square to the table, what jack screws? LOL, there they were still in the bag. now i can cut 1/8 material on my 1915 crescent 20. i'm still waiting to hear back about some guides for that saw. the mag fence works great on the little beaver too

I’ve been using the 1/2” woodslicer blades and was thinking about trying a Carter blade. Can I get by with a 3/8” greenwood blade? I saw a video of you doing a 13” resaw on Cherry. Looked like it could handle it. I have a Rikon-325.
How do you know when it’s time to change out the tires? I have an old Rikon 325 and I am a weekend warrior so it doesn’t get used all the time. Also, what’s the best way to remove pitch or build up from the tire?
Generally, for rubber tires, you'll see cracking and deterioration, which will mean the rubber is not providing ideal cushion between the blade and wheel. As for pitch and build-up, denatured alcohol is your best option.
i just got a magfence (lee valley), love it. i use it on my 1940's beaver 12" bandsaw which never had a fence offered

I got both products from woodcraft. Can i turn this magfence into a FEATHERboard?
Its really handy for FAST when i have my Laguna C02 laser focus height. I use the Magfence 2 with my Laguna 14bx i got at Woodcraft here in sacramento.
Great to have Alex Snodgrass come to Sacramento California at Woodcraft. I immediately got the magfence 2 and the. FAST system for the bandsaw.
