I was a graduate student of Dr. Michel Bruneau. He is an amazing teacher and great researcher. My thesis, which led to a publication in ASCE, wouldn't be possible without his guidance and continuous constructive feedback. Thank you Dr. Bruneau.

That is not traditional concrete. The only way a concrete core leads like the one in the video, is if it’s a leading core. A leading core cost more, because of all the rebar couplers. I haven’t seen any leading cores around the Bay Area lately, and I’m sure it has to do with the cost of couplers. As far as form work Webcor has some really good systems that work with hydraulics. It allows them to pour every three days. Traditional concrete cores are double lifts, which allows one lift to get poured as soon as the deck gets poured and the other lift dowels out. The deck always gets poured first and then the core wall. Webcore also pours every three days on a traditional concrete building.
