Nah, as I noted below...it gets repetitive after a while. You really have to get into it to keep it exciting and novel, and that takes dedication and/or risk. Not quite the same as scuba diving as a "casual hobby". Besides, you get really good dreams after only a few jumps...and they last a lifetime. ;-)
Well, it comes down to that whole thing of coming home with a broken ankle (and having to explain it) or not coming home at all. Not sure which is worse. ;-) And I'm sure y'all have seen the preponderance of "incidents" for jumpers in the 200-400 jump range who get bored and manage to crash perfectly good parachutes. There are old jumpers and bold jumpers...you know the rest. ;-)

So you can't have kids while skydiving?? So we don't need condoms! I hope my wife doesn't figure that out!! :P
